Yeah this 50% Damage reduction is not cutting it.

Got into a scuffle with an ganker outside the imperial city gates, this 1v1 took 5 minutes.... we ran out of resources, literally had to stop fighting stand there and stare at eachother while we regenerated. this 50% damage reduction is too much. maybe adjust it to around 25%?

    Did you reactive your mundus buff? I was running out of magicka for a while until I realized they took away my mundus stone.

    There was already a 25-35% (can't remember exactly) damage reduction in Cyrodiil. They just increased it up to 50%. Going to 25% would just be the same as 1.6

    I noticed that as well when running CoH actually. I was having a lot of trouble keeping my Magicka up.

    The whole point of these changes was to make 1vX as hard as possible. The entire premises of these updates was to push folks into groups and make the deciding factor the size of your group. I figured this out very quickly on the PTS. Im sad to see they didn't dial back that damage reduction and healing received a bit.

    Before folks complained they died to fast, now we can't kill anyone...sounds like a grand time!

    Liked 1.6 but regardless i looked at the battle spirit yesterday. said 15% increase to damage.

    Well I've not had the pleasure of downloading the patch yet but to be honest after the PTS I am not looking forward to it one bit. Duels will now become pointless because 2 skilled players could take a while fighting on 1.6 but now with 50% damage reduction the only thing duels will do is burn a hole in your potion pocket and lead to you both putting your weapons away, laughing a bit at how pointless the last 10 minutes of your life was and then crying because your 20 pots down. 50% was just too much IMO.

    They took away all your skills and passives. You need to redistribute all your skill points back into all your passives.



    I know this is like that customer support derp asking if you plugged it in, but it's true. And I mean ALL your passives. Scroll through every skill-line to ensure you have all your needed passives for your build.





    And yes, these sweeping blanket nerfs to healing and damage are beyond terrible. Same with the block nerf. But hey, ZOS wants us all to zerg or die anyway, while spamming light and heavy attacks.

    To be honest, I really didn't have an issue with blocking today on my DK.

    The reason why your regen feels so low is because they reduced the amount of regen on the 2 & 3 set bonus, same with spell damage/weapon damage. Part of me also feels Divines doesn't give as much as it used to give, because the Atronach stone felt weak.

    Either way, true testing won't begin until VR16 and when people get their hands on VR16 gear.

    I have to say I really enjoy the 50% reduction so far. Saw multiple NBs try to gank me today and I just laughed it off.

    My regen seems lower as well. Part of it was I didn't realize you know must have a camp ability on your bar to get the regen passive. That helped a little, idk what other things are influencing it tho

    I won't say whether it is a good or bad thing, because we aren't even post update for more than 24 hrs yet. But it definitely takes some time to get used to. Questing through Malabal Tor my stamina is draining fast trying to kill random VR4 mobs of three using steel tornado lol.

    My character's BICEPS are gone! The sorry son of a [snip] is out of shape and left winded from steel tornado on SISSY VR4 ORC MOBS!

    And yes I guess I went against the grain and stayed a stamina NB.

    No. I don't hit like a truck and i'm not a Nightblade. tho i am someone who likes to go solo. So, add solo players to your limited little list there.

    And no. it's a game of numbers now. skill doesn't really factor in here.

    Im having a fantastic time utterly destroying people. Especially the ones who cant function without dodgeroll.

    I dont know how to feel. I kinda feel bad for them but, something had to change. Rolling around like a buncha gorillas on acid was killing this game too.

    I don't know. I'm guess i'm just not understanding where the skill in this patch comes into play. i can be a hell of a lot more careless on this patch then i was afforded on 1.6 and not really have to worry much about making mistakes. i dunno.

    I wont say that it is at this point. There was no direction or plan for combat in this game. I felt op in 1.6, and even more so in 1.7.

    Its not our fault though.
