    well I am not saying it was EP but this didnt happen (no meteors were going off) until about 50 reds showed up then BAM insta lag city and then the meteors came.

    Of course they showed up in force. Read the chat in video, it's the last emp keep, and there's obviously a scroll in there. I see plenty of reds still alive on those flags, yet they flip from weight of numbers. There must have been a lot of AD inside of that keep.

    There was a ton of AD there. I was on the back flag during this video. There were a bunch of AD there spamming all kinds of effects and there were even more upstairs. I couldn't get anything off except a standard but I wasn't taking a lot of damage either. I actually walked out alive through the breach after the keep flipped. I really hate fights like those.

    Yup....think we can see that one needs to be taken out of slots till they have time to look at it. We all need to spread the word quickly.

    No I am not saying ANYONE caused it, I am saying it didnt happen until EP showed up in large forces. There was resistance there. I am not claiming any one faction made it happen or is the cause of it. I was pointing out a observation was all. Once we all got confined in such a small place the chaos began. THATS what I am saying lol it was laggy but not super laggy until reinforcements arrived then once they showed up it was death to the ping.

    Yeah, always a lot of ground shaking going on. I will de-slot meteor myself just because but I don't think you will get the majority of people to do so. Need a fix quick.

    Wow. I suspected meteor causing some of the issues and noted it in other threads as I would notice seeing it spamming and shaking all over the place whenever the crippling lag would come but that is awesome that someone was able to get that many people together to actually test it out.

    There were about 60 total people in that keep all trying to defend and/or take it and the scroll. It was the last red emp keep and our second scroll so of course there were a ton in there.

    That is the point though, how in the hell are we going to "spread out" and remove lag when it TAKES that many people to attack/defend.

    So Red should have just said, "welp, we can't go defend our last keep and their scroll because we may cause lag by using you know, our skills" and yellow should have left because there were too many of us defending?

    I mean, I guess we could have just put up a fire balista and wrecked their faces in 1 shot though, oh wait couldn't put down siege cause the lag was real.

    blech. I say! BLECH!~
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    i dont get where ppl are saying this all because meteor, its absolute *** it has been lagging since the lighting patch back in 1.3 and just kept gettin worse an worse each patch, and now its gettin beyond unplayable.

    once it starts lagging like this u can do it with nearly every ult

    Ironically I got killed by 2 DC gankers after I escaped the keep after it flipped. Survived the blob but couldn't get past a couple of guys who were basically farming leftovers.

    Whether it's meteor or healing springs or batswarm or whatever the lag/desync problems have always had a common denominator - a lot bodies in the confined space of a keep/outpost. I have no idea how the programmers resolve it because like you said who's going to spread out when a scroll and emp is involved.

    I totally agree with you and understand why red would show up en masse. This is what I refer to as natural/organic lag caused by code issues and server failure. This is not an instance I would point to as lag exploit. It's just a huge battle. But because this type of lag also occurs doesn't mean there is not times certain groups play dirty and exploit the already existent lag.

    I totally agree with you and understand why red would show up en masse. This is what I refer to as natural/organic lag caused by code issues and server failure. This is not an instance I would point to as lag exploit. It's just a huge battle.     When I used it, it was for knock back potential but ended up hating it because it's can be reflected and I got zero kills from it.

    Yeah, I don't even have it. But a few in our groups do and have been using it against ep-has seemed to slow their roll a few times.

    I don't know. I was using it on my Templar because its still cheaper than Nova, and the extra in Nova really requires someone to synergize it; and that's not going to happen from range.

    I don't know. I was using it on my Templar because its still cheaper than Nova, and the extra in Nova really requires someone to synergize it; and that's not going to happen from range.

    That was my rationale for using it. I've since replaced it with barrier. Going to look into horns to add that "command immersion. ".

    Also, other morph of nova ads movement reduction. Is say that is better than relying on synergy procs.

    yea pretty crazy huh that a GIANT METEOR can be reflected right... @ZOS_BrianWheeler any plans on making this a NON reflectable projectile since, you know, it is a GAINT ROCK flying through space to a target location, and NOT a spell projectile? I mean over load i can understand, but meteor....come on lol makes no sense my good sir! Even a sword and shield can reflect meteor.....that makes ZERO sense as well. everything else in the game I understand, but those two things reflecting a giant rock hurling through space at them is just insane.
