    well my game is running fine now, almost an hour of uptime and it hasnt gone up in memory usage past the first 10-15 mins of being on. i can finally get back to tamriel.

    I just downloaded a patch when I got booted out of the game for the 5th time today after interacting with a crafting station. So, apparently they patched the memory leak already.

    Yes, there is a memory leak patch, but it still leaks.
    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.

    much smaller memory footprint on my system after 30 minutes of play... 1.0GB vs 1.6-1.8 or so... thanks for the fix!
    Now, if you could help my wife out by finding someone to clean up our yard this weekend...

    Hi folks, we just created a thread saying this, but we wanted to make sure everyone in this thread saw it.
    The small patch that fixes the memory leak and infinite loading screen issue is now available for the North American megaserver. There is no downtime required. If you are currently in the game, please log out completely to apply the fixes.

    This patch will be available on the European server in approximately 4-5 hours. Thank you all for your patience as we worked to fix these issues.

    I monitored my memory over 3 hours last evening with no appreciable memory loss. Sorry. But then.....EVERYONE says there is a memory leak so in order to fit in I must say so as well.

    Husband and myself are both experiencing the memory leak issue especially going from one zone to another. We have to keep rebooting as our computers just freeze up completely. We can't play like this so are waiting until there is a fix. Thanks for keeping us updated.

    Yeah, the patch definitely didn't fix anything for me. My memory loss numbers have even went up very slightly. Still can't stay on for more than a minute or so and apparently i'm not the only one. Might be fixed for a few but the problem is still there.

    Patch appears to have fixed it. If there's still a leak, memcleaner is actually working now, whereas before it wasn't. No graphics issues, nothin'.

    Will the update fix the log in timed out problem? i mean its a serious problem when people cant even log in. That should be their top priority.

    Wait.. You have a patch? I am on the eu server and i havent got a patch yet :/ Have they said if the patch fixed the log in timeout/cant log in problem? Is it related to this problem?

    Yeah they have to take the EU server down and choose to do this at 5AM EU time. Very good of them, cause we are a few who can play. I rather play tonight, sleep, then play even better tomorrow!

    Can you guys please reboot the server instead of forcing vr 6+ players to kill the mobs you messed up, in the first place?

    They are working 24/7 because of the severity of the "service".

    My laptop is 5 yrs old.. until this patch I played on high settings with 0 lag. 0 stutters at 60-80FPS.

    This laptop plays bf4 on high settings. Played TOmb rRaider on highest possible settings.

    4gig Ram, ATI Mobility Radeon 4670, i7 1.60GHz (8CPUs). This wasn't my problem It was theirs.

    What I don't understand is why nobody used the the trick/fix I explained earlier that would have likely allowed anyone with a leak to play. I used OpenGL instead of DirectX and it worked better than before the leak. Try to help, get ignored.

    Yes i have that problem,Havent been able to play since last night,But iam going to bed anyway now. Its that problem,Didnt encounter it before the update,I am glad you are working on it and are talking to us on the forum :) It helps,Glad to know that you at zos is listening.

    Dont know how many people have the 301/timed out bug but there seems to be alot.

    Well none of the "fixes" have let me log in even once since the patch. Never got an error301 message. just after i type in usename and password stays at an eternal loading screen north america server. still ubnable to log in currently.
