Bank has been entirely wiped.. all my 80 items gone

    Any news? Servers were down last night when I went to bed, and appear to still be down. I haven't heard anything from support-- please help!

    I woke up this morning in a slight panic and vague recollection that all of my stuff went missing. With my head still in a fog, I couldn't make out whether it was real or imaginary. Was I dreaming?

    A few days of diligently acquiring masses of things to hoard and covet, now gone. All that effort, possibly gone to waste. Next, I wondered about my Bitcoins. Would they be next? Shrugging off the risk I know I take with all things digital, I wondered about other things. What about my online banking? My hard earned paycheck is just numbers on a screen, not even paper anymore. How safe are those things? Possibly just one hacker away from total loss.

    Then in a moment of clarity, I rolled over and kissed my wife and greeted my kids good morning at the breakfast table.

    Whereas the lines between the imaginary and the real are now blurred in today's world, I remember to step back and realize that the imaginary things will not be around forever. But then again, neither will real things. It's a stark reminder for me to keep things in perspective.

    I would look at it as a blessing, my bank is full of garbage I am too lazy to clean out at the moment.

    I just logged in after the maintenance, and found the issue is not resolved, all items in my bank are still missing.

    I too can confirm that it is still broken. All my items are still missing. I have resubmitted a email ticket within the game.

    Bank slots were reduced to 60 from 80, lost ALL the gold in my bank, and by losing 20 slots I can't be sure if I lost any items, because I had a lot in there and it's hard to keep track of. Sent an e-mail,hopefully it'll be fixed.

    Logged in after patch and bank is wiped. When I logged out last night bank was intact. I have submitted a ticket.

    Also I have another question. Should I keep my bank empty in the hopes that items will be restored. Or should I use my bank while this problem is being sorted out?

    I lost all my equipped gear, my inventory, my bank, my skill points and my level 5 mount! This is just crazy and I was just loading to a map. It was all fine inside an instance, I walked out, and when map loaded, I was naked. All gone.
    I play on european server.
    I submited a ticked, but I noticed skills were missing after I already send it...

    Just logged in and can confirm that my items are not in my bank. It seems that the items that are in my bank are items that were placed there after my bank inventory disappeared. Just submitted a ticket.

    Relogged in after the latest patch. Can confirm the bank situation has not changed. Still empty. I replied to the latest customer support email after the latest patch.

    Everything in my bank is gone. Including my bonus items that I didn't put on a mule. All my pets and 3-4 of the treasure maps are what I am missing. Anything else I can get again.

    EDIT: After logging back in on another character I noticed as I logged in I was being put in an overflow server. I was not asked if I wanted to but automatically put there. Is this why our banks are missing? I seem to remember statements to that effect before that there would be not access to our banks on an overflow server?

    Servers are back up but my items still haven't been returned :( also no reply from customer service today since i e-mailed them last.

    So the servers are back up and running and we are all back to enjoying ESO for the past couple of hours. Now my inventory is getting full again and I have not received any response to the 2, email submitted tickets with this issue. All my bank items are still gone after the maintenance. I would like to at least know if its safe for me to use my bank as they are now and cut my losses or will that cause any further issues with correcting the problem?

    (My 1st email support ticket was placed around 1 am EST last night.)

    Received a very good response from Tech Support. It took awhile but I'm now getting places.

    From Customer Support email:
    "The issue with bank items was raised yesterday and should be resolved now in a recent patch, as for the items, a system is being worked on at the moment to identify affected customers and restore their bank items, I am not sure how long this is going to take, but rest assured every measure is being taken to resolve this situation."

    Thanks berkajerk! :D I'll go with what you have been told and resume the use of my empty bank with the hopes that they mail the recovered items as to not lose the new items I will be placing in the bank.

    What I did was start an Alt just to use as a bank. Put everything from my main into the bank. Then log in as the alt and take it all out. It's inconvenient but this way I can still play and not worry about all my goodies and give the devs some time to figure it out.

    This happened to me as well! I logged in and my bank was completely empty and reset back to 60 items after mulitple ugprades. Only ONE item was left... my Mara Pact...

    Then, later, SOME items reappeared but no upgrades. This is REALLY frustrating as I had ALOT of resources in the bank that took DAYS (yes... since Sunday) to accumulate. Not to mention the 12000+ gp for the upgrades.

    I have a ticket open... but it's taking FOREVER! I spent over 90 minutes in in-game chat waiting to talk to someone and was disconnected twice with the unknown error issue.

    PLEASE HELP! I don't want to lose all the work I did today before I noticed it... but if you have to restore my character/bank... I'll take that hit... just PLEASE get my bank upgrades and items back!

    @ookami007‌ I highly suggest staying away from in-game chat. I've tried it multiple times for over 30+ minutes to no avail. However, if you email them within an hour to a few I usually get a response. It took me a few emails but now I'm getting passed on to someone that can actually answer my questions.

    Latest Update:

    @Nazmar‌ For all those affected by the bank bug this the email I just received. Now this is the kind of Customer Support I'm talking about!

    "The most recent patch should prevent the issue from occurring again, so at the moment it's just a matter of correcting issue for the affected players.

    You won't have any problems continuing to use the bank as normal, the items should be rolled out via in-game mail, I'll let you know if that changes.

    If you need anything else, please let me know, until then though, may your might never fade and your skills in battle never flounder against the tyranny of Molag Bal and his Daedric horde!"

    Thank goodness my Imperial Edition items and other stuff are still in mail. but am sure if i lose anything, customer service will investigate and replace them for me. *Wink* :)

    I had this problem as well. I entered a ticket yesterday and received an email. No fix as of yet.
    Main: Breton Nightblade "Shadow Cleric" (Sustained Damage/offhealer) 5L/2H - Resto + S&B
    Alt: Argonian Dragonknight (Stam DoTs/Tank) 5H/2M - S&B + Bow
    Alt: Nord Templar Berserker (Rawr) 5M/2H - Dual Wield + Two Hander

    I'm glad to see that you guys from Zenimax are doing a very good job solving problems for people. Doing a maintenance is hard enough, and that bank problem was hard on you guys too. I'm very happy for the work you've been doing. I truly understand the work you guys put into the game.

    Has anyone received any of their missing bank items yet? Or heard any updates? I finally received a email about 24 hours ago stating my items will be returned. Have not heard anything since.

    My ticket was closed, but there was no resolution. Items are still not in the bank. I've replied to let them know nothing is fixed, but it's been about 10 hours since the message that they were resolving the issue and I've heard nothing since.

    Still haven't had items returned yet? coming up on a week :( Maps are going to be worthless soon :( as i'm 2 high level to use rewards :(
