    Really ZOS. It's not even prime time and I'm not even in Cyrodiil. Second crash within 10 minutes just PvE questing.

    Edit: Oh lovely. Logged back in and I was dead due to lagging during a trespassing attempt when the servers crashed.

    This is crazy.
    This is happening on a regular basis now that is pretty
    well pointless spending the time trying to fight my way in a delve
    and getting the skyshard or boss only to get booted
    from the server before completing.
    Login back in only to have to fight my way back again and take the chance getting booted again.

    How many times is support going to post that they are investigating on how "SOME" people are having\
    troubles logging in and that further communications will follow.
    Only to see that nothing gets said about it.

    I guess it is thanks our patience that we put up with this.
    The fact they say they are investigating can mean lots of things
    - read the posts and post thank you for your patience why we investigate (which is a form of showing us the finger, imo)
    - monitor the forums
    - right an incident report
    - wait until morning and hope it goes away
    - do nothing

    I am not seeing any communication other than the fact you are aware of the situation
    This not a feel good scenario
    I would be embarrassed to be associated with such a ....

    Nobody's ignoring the problem - we are actively looking into this issue to figure out a solution. We want to get everyone back into the game as much as you want to get back into the game.

    So what is the issue?
    Why can you not come up with a solution? Not willing to until you see if the aforementioned issue goes away after this
    wonderful pvp event finishes?
    I guess we have to take your word for you saying your not ignoring the problem
    I guess if you post once every few days that you are not ignoring the "problem" you can claim you are not ignoring it.

    ZOS, pro tip from former support staff and customer service rep: put up a global notification that you are aware of the problem and working towards a fix. This thread is over 3 days old at this point, and still continuing. I think that justifies it.

    They are pretty inconsistent about doing that sort of thing.

    They need a way that the "live services" staff can push out a message when there are server, network, or internet issues that need to be communicated. Right now, they need to contact someone who knows Vanilla Forums that can update the forum banner or post a comment, or someone who has the keys to the Bethesda Twitter account that can publish a sound bite.

    Of course, the stickler could be the "needs to be communicated". They might figure that people don't need to be told they cannot log in, as they can see that for themselves. The reason why they cannot not log in is not "need to know".

    I am just Beyond Pissed right now! I can not F*ck*ng Believe they took that red banner down while I'm still having these simple Login Errors and Connection Issues! Even when I'm able to login I am kicked after a minute or 2 at the MOST! I'm going on 3 days no with no access! This is absolute HorseSh*t! Seems as though as long as a majority are okay, they carry on pretending everything is fine while the server is crashing down around everyone! I have been more than patient with this but I have been dealing with this mess and it has driven me off for years each time and I'm sick of it already! I paid good money for this and not even able to use it more than half the time! This is just ridiculous already! Everyone involved in this game should be ashamed for putting out such a selectively defective P.O.S.! I'm sure closing the thread or banning me altogether is easier than owning up to your problems! Just goes to show how you treat your player base. We ask for so little, we're more than content when we actually have a stable connection meanwhile you rob us blind for outrageously priced Crown items... Cookie Cutter copied Pixels that literally cost nothing! And coerce a monthly subscription by limited bag space with Thousands of repetitive items that serve no real purpose so nearly makes the game unplayable even after having Paid To Buy the game! Never in my life have I had such poor service nor paid so much for a game I can't even use. And of course this all happens during an Event no less. F*ck! This cash cow is spent, good luck on swindling a new player base with Morrowind while still masking issues from Beta... Back to reality...

    Things on my PC... that can contribute to badness with ESO.

    Unsure if this is useful (YMMV), but after a quick glance through this thread I thought it could be useful for some people. (Please note I am not saying it's not the ESO servers, nor I am I saying it is the ESO servers. I am 'servers-good-or-bad-agnostic' and know ZOS are sweating on getting to the bottom of all this).

    • I've noticed that Windows just delivered the Windows Creator Update. This was a huge update and a massive rollout by Microsoft, and by default warns me about various firewall settings I had set up previously (after the update completed). I am fairly sure if I chose the options to fix these issues then at least temporarily ESO would have been blocked or had issues. (I am W10 professional, Windows 10 Home users may have less options again than I did). Of interest is that as far as I am aware, default Windows 10 Home systems will be busy downloading and getting the update ready in the background, which can affect latency. Please note that by default other computers on your home network will be downloading W10 updates from your PC, by the way, and vice versa.

    (For me a case of 'no thank you Microsoft, I know my settings are not what you think are right for me, but i also know they are entirely safe. Please do not put me back into kindergarten ask-permission-for-all-apps and exceptions and by the way reset my firewall mode again.')

    • I have noticed that when the ESO Launcher is downloading PTS updates, my latency spikes way high which affects the in-game performance as I run ESO. Similarly when I have other games updating on my PC, ESO ingame latency fails. (I don't run peer to peer sharing software, but by default recall that if you do then others may be leaching files off your system).

    Otherwise, yes, I have experienced a few cases of 'bad stuff' this past week or so in game, but nothing like being unable to login and so forth. (A few cases of unexpected logouts while in dungeons, the weird case of mounting and galloping into the sunset with my character simultaneously running on top of the horse. Clever guy! I will make him join a circus.)

    PC NA, Windows 10 Professional, located in Australia, 'good' latency in ESO is 247ms from here, but often it is sitting at 300ms these days.

    the solution to this is to go in the shop and buy some items, also pay your eso +, this will solve all the performance issues

    In short: there is no solution. Players will continue with this problem, until the server falls again for all. What appeared to be a problem of the few has become a problem for many.

    And ZOS? No response on.

    what you ask will not happen, is like putting a banner up on the forum telling new customers and players curious to try ES Online for the first time "Hey, we have huge issues in this game....", it may happen from time to time but repeatedly having this banner up will send bad messages :) so i guess they are trying to do some damage control right now, while looking inti resolving the problem
    The only way to fix this is to split servers, have more servers available, only one servers hosting all N America, S America, Asia, Oceania players is a no no

    Five times in the past 12 hours I have tried to login. Was successful only once.

    I have no problem with scheduled down time but unscheduled? :)

    I had written out a list of all the starting excuses we have had in the past, but
    deleted them as this exercise in trying to get an explanation of why
    this is happening is pointless.

    I'm having the same problem.. Sometimes i log in and i'm automatically kicked off to the login screen, sometimes i can stay on the game for like 1 minute (swapping bars, using skills. etc) then i cant see zone, guild, pm chats or even travel to any place, getting kicked off once more. Its happening since 07/26 and i have tried everything, reboot, dns clear, repair, instaling all again... I just know we all are having the same problems and we don't have a single answer about what's being done to solve this.. Who has plus+ is losing their time and i wonder if they really will give us back that time as well.
