Certain emotes will trigger the different facial expressions. I believe blacksmithing in particular will give your character a grump expression. You can /shrug or equip and unequipped to get it back to default from what I've found.

And yeah, you don't need personalities or anything like that. /welcome /wave /angry /cry /hearbroken /downcast etc will all give your character an expression that will stay unless you change it to something else.

Sadly my dunmer looks like she's going to joyfully stab someone in the face when she smiles, so I have to cancel mine a lot when I'm RPing on her . :P

Since we are calling some cosmetic bugs out, I'll repost this pic:

    wBHKBKY.jpg

The Breton outfits (first and third) still use a deformed male torso instead of a female torso, which leads to... Well, that. Outfits on the second and fourth pics are looking right, and therefore being used as comparison.

If you are not seeing it, the problem is that the character ends up with one big breast and no separation between them. It is like if their stern bone moved forward.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Thanks for the updates @ZOS_JessicaFolsom! While we wait, what are your thoughts on the Breton Hero Costume?

In case you've not seen this yet:

We've read the feedback in that thread. We'll take learnings from it into consideration for future costume designs.

Thank you so much! I will post this in that thread, which is really all most of us have wanted! Cheers!

So this week at work a guy came over to report that the printer wasn't working. Making the printers work again is something I do so I went to take a look at it. They had the thing pulled out from the wall and were looking at it all over, and they had tried plugging it into different outlets, pushing all the buttons, everything.

I leaned over, located the power switch, and clicked it to ON. Then I went back to my desk.

Two days later a different guy came to report that the printer wasn't working. I looked at it, found the thing on the screen that says "Load Paper," opened the paper tray, loaded the paper, and went back to my desk.

It took me longer to walk to the printer than it did to "fix" it, but sometimes I still think they don't pay me enough.

Anyway I hope your IT people are as good at their jobs as I am.

I *might*' have done something like that...back in uni days called a friend in a panic as PC wasn't working and I was against a deadline. He soon fixed it by turning it on at the wall. Good job my first degree is in marketing and not anything vital to people or the world :)

It seems accurate to me.... I have a sad face as well when it is time for me to log out.

What does bug me though, is the permanent angry face they get after blacksmithing. Why does blacksmithing cause such rage? Do they keep accidentally burning themselves? So far the only way I have found to return to a neutral expression is by mounting/dismounting.

Since we do have your ear. A few of us who've been experiencing a Sprint Lock Bug in heavy combat have some ideas about what's causing it.

In case you're not familiar with the issue, you can be in a heavy combat situation and your bars will grey out. Any attempt to use a skill will result in the error message "You cannot do that while sprinting" displaying in the corner of your screen. To unlock yourself you need to tap the sprint key (shift). The strange thing about the current bug is that you don't have to be sprinting to get caught in it.

We think that the sprint lock might be caused by certain channel effects when you have to break off the attack to avoid AOE damage. Those of us who've experienced most frequently have it occur mid channel of a rapid strikes attack. We'll dodge roll back and get sprint locked. It also happened to one of our healers while channeling a heavy attack.

Well, while we all hang out until maintenance is over, how is everyone's Saturday going? :) Anyone conquered the new dungeons in Vet mode?

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

My Saturday is going pretty well. A little tired, just returned to the game two days ago. Server went down. Saw a comment about the crowns being on sale. Brought 5500 crowns. So the server going down ended up making you more money.

    Well played, well played.

Bought two packs of the 5500 crowns yesterday, created another character, was going to buy more crowns today to max out bag space and mount. Decided not to since the server is down I didn't know if they would show up in the game, will wait and decide if I'm going to buy any once the server comes back up.

That's odd... I don't think I've seen anything similar with my Altmer Magicka DK's destro staff... I wonder what it's linked to? Style perhaps? My DK has a daedric destro staff, the newbie has an altmer restro staff. The others that have told me they experience it were also altmer templar. It might just be linked to the templar skills in general. Dunno why that other guy wouldn't have the issue though, unless he just hasn't noticed it.

My Breton templar healer doesn't have this either, and I've never seen it on other healers I've run with this week. Does it seem to be specific set resto staves? It would seem really strange for it to be limited to one specific race/class/weapon combo, but I suppose we've seen much more unlikely things be true in ESO.
