    This is the last error I received after 3 days of trying to update and repair in a nightmare loop.
    I was only able to login by eso.exe not the launcher. The problem with this is my sound did not work . I was told that means I Need to repair sound files.

    "Installing error...
    ABORT: Invalid Memory Size (0)
    (..\..\..\..\shared\unzipper.c/836)"

    I am trying again to use launcher. I only want to repair in options but instead launcher is updating again!
    what are steps just to repair ?

    News I succeeded in getting to the repair option in launcher.
    Bad news forced to download too tiny of print not sure if it reads 5841 mb or 8841 mb
    I hope this isn't another all nighter, in desperation I played other mmo today but still need my ESO back again.

    Question in options is it better to never allow updates at launcher?
    Is it easier to update after game starts?

    Thanks for everyone's response. This Gal just wants to have fun in ESO and new update has not been fun.

    WHOOHOOO! Repair on update worked!

    Thanks Jason, Molly and everyone else who wrote to help me.
    ESO Techs found problem in launcher and fixed it! ESO hugs to all who fixed launcher or update not sure what it was.

    Yer its fine i had to download like 5 gig it took a while but they must of been the missing sound files , but im all golden now :)

    All is well here. I bought the game on Tuesday but haven't been able to play until last night. But thanks to a active and helpful community I discovered that I wasn't alone with this issue. Hopefully if this occurs again it can be solved quickly as it already seems to have happened twice now.

    Just to let everyone know the launcher the update and launcher repair now works for me!
    ESO sound files were missing but now I have sound again in the game.

    I am a Happy Gaming Gal and ESO is really the best mmo I have played at this time.

    Thanks again to everyone who responded. WHOOHOO launcher is fixed for EU
