Looks, its real simple. Damage, damage and more damage. Build up for veil of blades on trash mobs (ie 1-3 man groups), then pop it on the strong mobs and go all out nuts with everything you got.
You *do not* want drawn out fights. Harvesters is the prime example. Soloing a VR10 harvester should not even be a challenge for a dps Nightblade with ultimate up - in fact you should be able to kill it just about when the first set of balls come.
It is actually a very narrow amount of skills that make or break the solo PvE Nightblade in my experience - leeching strikes, veil of blades, shadowy disguise, killers blade and surprise attack. That is all you'll ever need. Pair with dual wield and medium armor to have the damage to back it up.
Bow is completely pointless and you should be ashamed for using it. You're a Nightblade, not a fancy-pants archer.
Yes. LMB + RMB ('Bash') while CCd.fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Because all classes have a 'break' skill?
Stop trolling.
No ability should be a requirement for one or two mob types.
Yeah, it's called: press left and right mouse buttons at the same time.fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Because all classes have a 'break' skill?
Yes this is definitely possible, I just killed about 30 of them yesterday to finish of my Daedra Hunter achievement. They are VR5 for me. Granted I am VR12 and have some gear, but I never got below 90% health fighting one of them, so it should be possible at lower levels. And yes sorry, you will need to use a resto staff. It's very difficult to solo them any other way. I use 7/7 light and two resto staves.
First bar:
Funnel Health/Swallow Soul
Cripple
Immovable
Mage Light
Literally whatever you want here, Impale or Killers Blade would be good for execution DPS
Veil of Blades (most important part)
Second bar:
Quick Siphon (very important)
Mutagen
Healing Ward
Dark Shades (also very important)
Whatever you want here, Mirage, whatever
Veil of Blades, doesn't matter
I charge up my ultimate on Fire Atronachs, which should be easy to kill. I start fight stealth, cast Dark Shades, then cast Quick Siphon, switch bars, activate Mage Light and Immovable, run in, drop Veil of Blades, and then light attack/Funnel Health, weaving in Cripple when the dot fell off (they are usually dead before any of this wears off for me, will take longer obviously for lower level). The combination of Veil of Blades and Dark Shades leads to a huge reduction in damage, coupled with Quick Siphon and Funnel health, which gives you good healing. If Dark Shades or Quick Siphon falls off, quickly switch weapons, block and recast, cast a heal if need be while on the second bar. Switch back and go to town. If you go low on mana, which you probably will, 1-2 heavy attacks with the resto staff will get you enough to finish the fight.
The key is Dark Shades and Veil of Blades. Just stay within the huge red circle and they can't hurt you much.
Any possibility to change class temporary before them?I posted this in another thread about Storm Atronachs. This is how I deal with them. Unfortunately, I know of no way to deal with them without using light armor and resto staff. This is just way the game works right now, so we either have to adapt or don't play (something I've been doing a lot more of lately :'( )Yes this is definitely possible, I just killed about 30 of them yesterday to finish of my Daedra Hunter achievement. I will maintain my stubborn style of S&B +resto siphoning NB since it allows me to take groups of 8 of humanoids in Craglorn,it allows me to farm vR9/10 public group dungeons and it allows me to solo everything except bosses in Craglorn Delves. It also allows me to take 2 Frost atronachs and it allows me to beat even SAs when everything goes well. You can keep your lousy DW refreshing path build for yourself you awesomely coordinated nb player,.In before Aces are OP.
He prefers QQueens while keeping the Aces up his sleeves.
The melee damage of SA would not hit him when he would use spark as i have mentioned before. As well he doesn't notice out of sight kites while siphoning dots and hots tick.
Instead Mr. QQ prefers playing his own stubborn style with sword/shield because he likes to be stationary fodder and then complains about tanks or heavy armor in TESO. Ridiculous!
Sure some mobs hit like a truck, thats why you just don't stay on the f****** road and wait til it happens ... Common sense!

Much better games? You have some interesting dreams.
But I think you already forgot that SOE pretty much hurt many games.
Just a reminder it was sony that screwed up EQ and SWG and we all knew it while playing. It was just a matter of time ...
