Also, there's a lot of hype at launch and some people have low attention spans (was that a squirrel?) and get bored. Add in the frustration that comes with every launch - bugs, unbalance, etc. I'm sure some folks ragequit.
I think it's too early to determine ESO's fate.
lol for the longest time I couldn't imagine why the dev's don't communicate at all, then I realized they're all too busy playing WS.
I don't know if there's any way to check the population of subscriptions in ESO but every guild I speak to is either losing members or dying, when I go to vet zones they are completely empty, and Cyrodiil population seems to have dropped a lot too?

Last days I played more BF than ESO for example.
So much for my evil plans.
I had planned to level slowly so that everyone would outlevel me and be off playing in the veteran levels by now. That way I'd have the lower levels all to myself (which tend to be what happens in most MMOs). But no, you guys had to make alts and crowd out my low level zones, didn't ya?
My character is level 20 and I remain hopeful that many of the issues regarding Veteran zones will be addressed before I get there. It's one of the perks of slow leveling. Sure you aren't the first to get to the end, but usually by the time you get there most of the bugs and glitches are fixed.
