Its a 301 epidemic

Yeah...another login timeout/301 issue here.

Maybe if enough people start threads on this they will put some more resources into fixing this problem.

Got error 301 (3:1:1229:90098) on saturday . Reponse from CS is screw you and waiting until maintance. Not acceptable in my opinion.

Lost all faith in support from Zenimax and I am fed up with the run around I always get. It is a reason for me to quiet the game

It is a shame cause the game is great!

The problem is on their side. I can login the NA server on the same pc and account, but European server I get the error $:\$

Over a month ago I had the same issue, therefore I do not understand why this issue was not addressed and fixed already. Is Zenimax not a professional company?

It's clearly on their side and they know it, but they're still advising people to do a whole bunch of meaningless tasks to get them off their back for a while. It's shameful. I have to wonder if they even have a QA department.

It's funny that you can sign onto two accounts and only one of them is affected. I'm glad I didn't waste time booting up my computer, it appears they still haven't fixed this and that it's affecting more and more people. Thanks for not letting me play this weekend zenimax.

My problem was solved using the "Venithar" method-

"So the biggest fix to this issue that has been documented is to click on the ESO shortcut and launch the game. Once in, add your information like you are logging in and copy (Crtl+C) your password. Wait no more than 8 seconds, quit and try again or as soon as it says login failed or the error occurs, hit alt and paste (Crtl+V) your password into the log in screen again and try logging in. Please keep in mind that it took some of our customers about 15-20 tries before they finally logged onto the server."

Which was the last thing CS recommended that I try.

I had the error and disabling my addons fixed it, I had it again and nothing would, the stuff they are telling you to do is possible work arounds, they might work but they might not and thats why they get you to do them.
