how can BE escape if the range for BE < range of gap closer?

i am for fair play so i believed a nerf for BE was needed however increasing the cost of BE this much is over nerfing
with the current magika costs being so high i think it is fair to increase the range of BE, that will then put it on par with the range of all gap closers, which is almost 2x as much range as BE

28-30m? are you some kind of newb? its 400 whole mana! it should be a global teleport you activate through your map, anywhere in cyrodiil! this is what 400 mana should give us! this is what we deserves as the players! this just proves that zenimax doesnt care about us players! they are only taking our money!5 -
Asava✭✭✭Ya, I'm a noob from early access that has played MMO's since 98. 400 majicka is quit a bit considering that my hardest hitting st dps spell costs 300 majicka a pop and a support skill costs 700 majicka a pop. Those neither of those have a regen penalty nor a usage penalty in the same skill.4

just dont use BE (as we do)
get a descent group = no need for BE
use ur skills wisely (a sorc is not the DD) ... all our sorcs are just CC and heal

You need to take into account what happens both the person got full magicka and when it has only half.
BE with all magicka was strong like hell , thus it needed a nerf , which in turn , made harder to use when you dont have so much.
Another option would have been to give all other class a similar skill , which they would then use to run after the sorc , would then turn to a more magicka/built thing, which the sorcs would still probably win due to their passives , but could be balanced around it.
And no , gap closer requires a target , which is the reason this whole mess began , if BE did the same , it would not have been such a problem."Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

And my NB invis costs 400 mana, cant really reduce it because I need medium to be effective. Doubt i've ever gotten 15m away without re-using it, despite slotting concealed weapon. Isnt Instant travel, is upset by any damage/aoe. pretty much requires me to be at full mana and get lucky to escape anybody.

Actually you really, really can. I played PVP last night and Bolt-Spam was everywhere. I posted earlier about chasing a sorcerer for a minute and half. It took me that long running, out of stamina (he was still bolt-spamming) before I could get out of combat, mount my horse and slowly run him down.
So... a minute and a half. Not spammable? You guys are pulling our legs now. We're onto you.

the only players spamming BE are just PvE victims without a group (die in 1CC an 2 Hits)
they dont harm you
the do no dmg (due to no magica)
... just a distraction
Sorcs only do good PvE DMG in PvP they are Support

You forgot to mention that being cloaked halts magicka regen as well. Just like BE (only Cloak is so bugged it often takes that mana and just doesn't work).

Well if they're stealthed then you won't see them until you're 14m from them and you're using mage light. But if they're visible then their gap closer is at the sorcs max dps range. Tab and 1 click and their on top of the sorc. I fail to see how that's confusing to anyone with the IQ of a gnat.0 -

Of course. PoD costs more then BE and has a very short range so you can spam that with sprint 4 times and be out of both magicka AND stamina. Very handy.

lets say he casted it once every 5 secs, **which is a very low estimate and not even considering spamming**, thats 18 casts in min and a half
with the cost being 200(before nerf) and NO mana regen thats 18x200, that is 3600 magika, no one has that much even with a mana pot
now with nerf it is 400 cost, so 18x400 is 7200 magika
so ur story doesnt add up1 -

As a Shadow skill after using it you have +30% Stanina regen for 6 seconds!
