Anomaly nerf not so bad.

    It seems like they putting in a cooldown on looting chests or a respawn timer. It just depends on how long the cooldown or respawn is. If the cd/respawn is as long as a run to an anomaly, that cuts the loot dropped over time in half. If it is as long as two runs, it cuts it by two thirds. You'll have to find out the duration of the cd. That should help slow down the price crash in purple mats.

    The bonux xp from the crystal probably won't have that much effect on the mindless groups who didn't respect the kill order (hint: you kill the elemental add before you destroy the red crystal for the bonus xp). Some of them actually thought that getting the 2x xp was a random occurence. No joke. :)

    an educated guess would involve trial and error something you are unable to do with the current server status. Believe it or not your guess was not based on factual data or replication, so its not an hypothesis; it is your theory if you want to get technical about it.

    I was one of the V3-V12 at one day levelers. Player logic is why not if we can?

    I quote my self , explaining how it works and you might understand the background of the fix a bit better:

    PL with anomalies and you can make 2 Vet levels in 3-4 hours. (4-6 Millions)

    Highest ratio only works with fast moving including portal to get all 3 spawns.

    Sure, more relaxing are 1 or 2 spots and best time is in the morning when there are max 2 groups around in total and as soon there is zerg of course there is a chance they outdamage your group but not every pull.



    A great option to skip alliance zones for toons, every game has spots to power level and personally i think it doesn't hurt anyone if players decide to PL instead questing.

    Its player choice and freedom.

    Anyway i agree with Zenimax, that this was way to much exp for a day ...

    I seen a lot of vr12 people there just for the chest at the end, which would drop just for a hit or two. Changing the loot to green like the rest of the areas would make a lot of people lose interest. Not saying its fair to the people who did not get there epic items though. I certainly do not want any more Air, Fire or Martial Knowledge items....ever.
    I always used a weapon power/crit/stam potion on the Air Atro and got XP 9 out of 10 times. Was there more for the xp than the loot, so burning a stack of potions was worth not having to quest in the VR zones.

    I took my VR3 there for the first time yesterday and ran around for a couple of hours harvesting nodes and chests. The only players I saw were mounted hordes running from one Anomaly to another. LOL.

    As for mobs, they're pretty thin on the ground in large parts and even where there some .. in small packs to deter the soloers .. they were easily avoided. The only places mobs were too dense to easily get past were the 'defense' ruins (whatever that content's called) and a couple of so large Ogre camps or whatever.

    It's a great zone to explore, many amazing and interesting sights to see, just utterly depressing it's forced-group content .. except for the Anomalies which now have their XP nerfed to the ground so 'soloers' can't get any XP off those now either it seems.

    Well technically you won't be comparing who was educated more or less, because the amount of information at the time of the guess wouldn't have changed. You would only be comparing the validity and accuracy of your guess to the factual reality.

    Semantics are fun!
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    I did VR 10 - 12 in the regular VR zones (Bangkorai for me). It was incredibly fast, as each dolmen/ wb/ delve gave huge amounts of exp at that point. So, I assume you never actually tried it.

    well only thing they really have done is to force people to go raid farming, that crystal was every solo-players chance to get to the xp. Then I suggest that all that do damage to that boss get xp for it and not just the top 12/raid groups. Otherwise its just one more spit on the smaller groups and those who dont get a spot in the farming trains.

    Im not even going to agree with this all the way. But my question would be to ask the people gloating about the "do four man dungeons" to the newer players where they got their exp to V12? If you cant provide a good stable guide how to level, then don't fill them full of stuff you didn't do yourself.

    Today I tried a dungeon with 4 of these "grind-people"...

    WORST grp ever!

    The healer did rarly heal my ( I was the tank )...
    He/she ( templar) did not use any of his class heals.
    There were timeframes where I did not get a single heal for like 10 seconds while tanking a boss.

    The dd´s did not know how to focus the healers...
    They said they will do it but did not... I have not seen a single interrupt.

    I was the only one who used CC.

    None of them activated the Synergy of my Bone Wall... but they were wasting dps/hps for activating that crap one from Inner Beast like all the time.

    First time in ESO I was afraid of having aggro.

    But the best thing was... after the second boss they went out and wanted to reset the dungeon because "it is so hard" and the first two ones are "easy" and "this is how you get the most experience".

    They said it´s to hard to go to that Skyshard also and refused to do it... so I had to sneak over there all by myself...

    3 vet map quests < One anomaly. Get real gear to boot

    As usual, one side of the balance is moved yet no expectation that the other side needs adjustment. Reminds me of my workplace

    In English this means tripled the respawn time of Anomalies to 10 minutes.

    And the award for the worst written patch notes in history goes to Zenimax! Tripling something is not "slightly" .. just say changed the respawn timer to 10 minutes if that is what you did.

    Yep the pooch got screwed again ! Loot gets nerfed, XP gets reduced by 50% (that's if you manage to get any at all)
    Craglorn wasn't exactly busy as it was, now its going to be even harder to find drag my butt there

    After patch: Totally dead lol, they did not include the respawn timer to the patch notes.

    I'm happy to report my educated guess was close to the mark.

    Based on the 30 minutes or so I played the new patch, you can loot every chest but gear loot is only in one out of every three anomaly chests. Nearly all of the gear drops were green. Only a few purples though this could be rng.

    Every chest provides 67 gold so no one walks away empty handed. One pleasant surprise is that the chests now can drop Monumental Glyphs. Enchanters lament but the rest of us can now update our latest set gear.

    The xp on the bosses are slightly lower than before. As a VR11, I was getting around 40k per boss yesterday, 29-37 per today. No bonus xp for adds/crystal kills as stated in the patch notes. The timing on the crystal spawns appear to be different. Group leaders will have to adjust their routes.
