NPC Archers "Taking aim" is Overpowered

this skill which is on all archer mobs is doing 2214 damge in one hit. Thats more than any boss does in a single hit except in trials.

    Not sure if things are working as intended, but some of the VR4 world bosses have attacks that do almost that much...even when soft capped on armor and spell resistance.

    On the other hand, that's insane for basic mobs to do that much.

    Underpowred imo.

    Should do 3k

    The ability is all of the following:
    -INSANELY SLOW. Takes them around 6-10 seconds to charge it.
    -VERY OBVIOUS. They yell out they are using it.
    -Easily interuptable.
    -Easily dodgable, it shows a huge red spray for a long time that never heat seeks.

    Due to all of the above 4, it should 1 shot every player.

    The game isn't meant for babies.

    If anything their volley is the more op attack.

    It does:
    -Over 3k dmg (total)
    -Has a relatively fast cast time.
    -They dont always call it out
    -Has a red circle but you have only a second or less to react

    Welcome to Dark Sou...I mean Elder Scrolls Online. Never mind that stuff about latency issues, weapon swap delay and abilities not firing off when they should. If you don't block a random trash mob you are dead!

    Especially if you are fighting a group of enemies... I mean its not like you might get distracted by the heavily armored guy with a shield or 2h charging at you and forget there is an archer over there quietly plotting to decapitate you from 30 meters away with a single arrow that they shoot straight up into the air...

    its never about 1v1 they are usually mixed in with several other mobs and u dont know its there until u are one-shot dead. A "normal" mob should not have one-shot mechanics.

    But they are not normal mobs, they are classed as GROUP NPC.

    The NPC in keeps etc in PVP are classed as group mobs. Lots of NPC's in Craglorn also have one shot range skills. 3k damage, long casting time, easy to dodge or interrupt but if you did not notice them.... boom one shotted.

    Unless its gots dots next to its name its a normal mob, it may be in special places but its still a "normal mob" I respectfully disagree that this is balanced game play. This is broken game play. Intended or not its broken. IMO

    Have you even played this game? You do realize while rushing into a keep the last thing you should have to prioritize should be the NPC's. With how hard this hits you pretty much have to negate them and cleave them down immediately and THEN attempt to kill the players actually defending the keep.

    Have you actually taken a keep with any semblance of a defense? Wait until you play against people actually smart enough to defend these NPC's.

    Did you miss the part that i wasnt actually talking about cyrodiil archers. But mobs in regular solo/public dungeon/delves.
