Hey ZOS, Nerfs Alone = Rage Quits

Did it perhaps go through any dev's head that before gimping sorcs in what is the largest nerf for ANY class yet, they should have released some buffs to encourage different forms of play?

Rift used to nerf without buffing, ask them how that played out with their player base (and they had less problems to deal with than you). You could have at least released the new version of Dark Deal OR fixed the bugs to Mages Fury OR fixed the bugs with BE breaking all of the time OR given us our better pet system Or fixed the manna regeneration nerf from BE OR stopped the block spam that is the true source of most of your player's QQs...

But NOOOO heaven forbid you do not listen to noob tears and not take drastic/uneducated actions to destroy classes without compensation. NO CDs was your promise, it's clear now that you lack the creativity (or work effort) to make that true.

Nerfs without buffs AND without fixes is killing the little your game has left!

No need to post anything. Everyone is a nerfmonger that enjoys seeing every class but theirs get the hammer. So even if you have a valid argument, people are going to call you down by posting about NB or Templars as if it is somehow your problem that NB or Templars are not fun to play.

NB is going to become so over the top in PvP due to PvE tweaks that the cycle will start over again.

So the solution to a broken class to break all others. Don't blame sorcs for ZOS's inability to fix your class. That line of thinking is backwards and hurts the game.

BE is not a priority. Its just another Gimp Nerf to dumb down the characters and make them more boring. I don't even play a sorc, and I agree that it is stupid.

If Bolt Escape alone was rigged enough to cause a outrage by sorc players, anger by all non-sorc players and rage-quits because it was nerfed.

Also, people who quit for valid reasons I sympathize with. But I'm convinced that those who ragequit we're probably better without.

I agree with the OP.

That nerf to elusive mist speed for vampire got me hard. That was my nice little toy that was fun. If it was too OP it should've been OBVIOUS when they made the damn thing. If developer's can't see things like this from the get go, it's their own fault. Stop giving good toys to us and taking them away.

It's called Indian-giving and people all over hate it.

Yes. DKs and Sorcs hurt the game when the people that play them refuse to bring in NBs and Templars into their groups. They're just being brought down to where they should have been in the first place. What goes around fellas.

Any nerf to DK or Sorc makes me a happy guy.

Those who rage quit from a game, especially over an abused mechanic, really need to sit down and have a good long introspective look at themselves to see if there might be something emotionally wrong.

lol. I play a sorcerer. Yes, I use bolt escape, I don't have the morph streak, which in my opinion was seriously broken. But I used it to escape mostly when I had a zerg coming at me. I don't mind dying to a good 1 on 1 fight.
So today's nerf came, tested it out when I logged in. Don't understand why all the crying (waaaahhhh, we got nerfed) It's still not that bad, one can still get good distance from ZERG attack!! ( I still get shut down a lot from good players that know what they are doing) But very happy it will cut down on that broken streak mechanic ( WHICH IS BROKEN ZENIMAX)

My opinion, this was an ok ability fix. Now, lets talk dragonknights and their super OP abilities.....roflmao

Stuck on wanting to prove he's a sorc while missing the actual point: 70% increased cost + magicka regen nerf + debuff animation for convenient timing by our opponents.

Nightblade has 2 builds than can knock off 75 percent of someones health coming from stealth. If they do not use them they can still open up with ambush to veiled and make CC break not work and work ppl down that way. How is mage better than NB again?

Currently CC break is busted and you cannot activate it when certain CC is stacked through abilities. AKA nightblades dream ganking right now...

Every class has good moves in PVP. And everyone is going to complain about them. Sorcs have crystal fragments that have hit me with anywhere from 400-900 damage. Other skills of theirs have hit me with 1200-1700. NBs have good openers that can stun and also skills that do 800-1700 (see the similarities?) DKs can ram u to he ground and burn with talons over and over and u can be practically dead before you get up. They're tanky but don't hit as hard. Which is the way it should be. But standard of might (I think it is) that has hit me hard a few times. I really don't see too much of problem with the way things are. Even before nerfs. Some players are better than you. Deal with it. Some spam moves that suck. You could do the same. You aren't meant to win every battle. Sometimes you actually have to think/try/have luck.
