Currently, all monsters that were still alive when the hotfix was applied last night still have their old stats. However, once they die and respawn, they will revert to their pre-patch 1.1.2 state. We understand that this is still causing them to be difficult until they are killed, but this was the fastest way we could fix the issue without rebooting the entire server and causing downtime.
Sorry for the confusion, but hope this helps clear up what's going on.

i thought quest rewards at VR were suppose to no lower than Blue didn't relies u get same items as questing normally just Upgraded stats, i was really enjoying this game until this, i guess this is a deal breaker for me, might finish my NB and wait for WOD as theirs no way for me to raid or do any group content like this
this needs to change at lease make Rewards worth it instead of *** greens that is no good for my class (most loot i've had has been heavy or two hand swords/axes) light/medium is for me
PS :sorry for flaming but venting is good
i did love this game as i love Elder Scrolls series and Lore.
(such a shame ,like swtor was)
also i'd buy a whole new settup if there ever was anything in these stupid Guild Stores (another issue)
It's not too hard. It just requires more finesse and strategy than pre-VR content. You need to actually use CC and mitigation, even if you're pure DPS.

LOL.
a) CC. Interesting. As templar I have 2 options. A mana sink single target one, Javelin. And the Volcanic rune which is AoE.
b) Damage mitigation. Have you tried to fight a VR4 Dwemer Centurion with shield or dw at VR4 character?

L2P, as they say.
But, I can feel your pain. It happened to me and lots of other folks over here since the patch Craglorn. Zenimax changed the table on HP/DPS of all mobs over the veteran zones, it was a mistake that they tried to fix with a hotfix but is not working in all zones with all NPCs in veteran zones.
There are several threads about this same problem in the forum, I'm just posting to add my 2 cents and not let you be ignored by all except the ones that will tell you that L2P stuff.
Lets hope they fix it and we can have fun, again.
Edit just to add one of the staff posts about the issue:ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Ok guys, here's what ended up happening with this:

And the remaining problems with VR zones later:ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Ok, for those that aren't seeing a change in monster difficulty even after a death and respawn, could you let us know exactly which monsters it is so we can take a look on our end?
