No sub should mean no posting allowed. There are other forums devoted to ESO that they can use.

Absolutely reduncolous. How on earth would a company ever get more customers with such an approach. Sometimes a user will create an account basically to get the news feeds or read up on data elsewhere inaccessible as a Guest user. Do you think that a player feels at home from the start, when they are greeted by a guardian waving the keys to the castle in front of them, with an extortion as a means of achievement.
Untrue. You need an invitation code to sign up for the forums. Said code is sent to you after you've subscribed.LareliRose wrote: »FYI Your forum account isn't tied to your game account. Anyone can make a forum account and never purchase or sub to the game.
I may have missed it, but who is telling everyone to use unofficial forums, and who advised players not to use them? Was it Zenimax? If it was, link please. I'd like to read that as it seems like an odd thing to do especially in light of the fact that ZOS employees use unofficial forums.rayeab16_ESO wrote: »stop telling everyone to use the fan made forums, when we were ALL TOLD NOT TO DO IT!
we were told to ONLY USE THESE FORUMS, for our own safety. for our accounts safety.

The obvious answer is if someone paid through the end of the month but cancelled today, their game is still active until the end of the month because ZOS doesn't refund a pro-rated amount of the subscription. Their forum access should be active until the end of the month too.
That's wrong thing to do, you can moderate trolls, but you cannot reject all unsub players because vast majority of them provide legit comments, however difficult to hear.
Why not Blizzard are doing if you do not renew your sub or cancel you can only read not write on there forum and why can't Zenimax do same + all other mmo have play that is sub base do samething you only read not write on there forum i don't see why it can't work here.
As OP most of them who have cancel the sub and are still write here are do so only to troll how can the provide any legit comments about the game the don't play anymore the no nothing what is happen to game or game machine anymore.

But ex-players staying for more than those said days, are here just to bring negativity and troll. The forums are filled with said comments and, quite honestly, its getting to the point where i don't even feel like coming here anymore.
So when can you start cleansing the forums from old accounts?! It makes no sense to let trolls wonder around.
EDIT: im not saying the game is perfect. Its far from it. But usually players that pay for the game, give feedback, with the intent of improving it. Players who have cancelled, for the most part, only complain about what made them quit and get that "i have nothing to lose" attitude.

It's quite a reasonable thing for a forum to do, in my opinion, because otherwise the forums can tend to get deluged by unproductive whining, trolling and hate threads.
Please note I said "no POSTING", not "no ACCESS", so they could read away to their heart's content. I think this went over your head.
"I quit" posts are against the Forum Rules. Report them and they vanish.malbaboeb17_ESO wrote: »If a player stops playing and wants to explain why, they should have 2-3 days max, to do so, on the forums or with the feedback tool.
