Please Help!

While attempting to complete Veteran Content in Eastmarch, I encountered a quest called "The Siege of Cradlecrush" After knocking the 4 scuts out of the trees the quest led me to a Giant who I poke and then he kicks me and it transports me into the water over the mountain. Only problem is seconds later I am re-teleported back in front of the Giant. It happens every time and I am unable to complete the quest and I need to complete the quest to finish off "Caldwell's Gold". Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I can confirm the bug. Looks like a validating routine is recognizing some kind of "unauthorized movement/teleport" and sets player back to last position the server was aware of.

Same deal.
Something tells me this is yet another "fix" they implemented to combat bots (who abuse teleporting). Bots probably never felt the impact. Us regalar paying idiots do. Awesome. Having such a blast yelling at this *** giant not to kick me to death.

Update: Read a post from some guy that got me through. I'll post what got me past for any poor souls out there who are still playing "kick my but"...

1) Relog.
2) Stand between mountain an giant at max interaction range facing giant.
3) Talk, click (2x).
4) After 2nd click, quickly start moving towards giant.
5) Get sent sky high.

This did it for me.
Hope it helps anybody.

I am still getting kicked into the pool of water and rubberbanding back in front of the giant. About 1/3 of the time he kicks me and I slam into the mountain side instead of flying over it or appearing in the pool. This suggestion may work, but it's not working for me.

After a few tries that worked for me. Thanks. Another player solved it by exiting the game the second the giant kicked him and logging in again.

Ill add what worked for me.

As soon as I was done talking to the giant I started jumping in the air. Instead of magically appearing in some water, I got booted to the top of the mountain side and was able to clamber over to the other side.

edit: Oh also, I had to wander around the lakeside and find the sweet spot on the shore in order to have the quest actually advance past "Talk to the Giant"
