Just as soon as Zenimax gets their act together and gets all the major bugs/exploits/ mass amount of bots taken care of, I think then, the players will start coming back.
I for one unsubbed because it feels like they have no clue what they are doing, their patches really don't fix much for as long as they take the server down, they break stuff that worked, exploits galore in pve and pvp.
If they get this taken care of sooner, rather than later, im sure they will do just fine.
TL;DR Zenimax needs to get their "poop in a group."

Here is a fresh look at things:
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/28/5-reasons-disillusioned-mmo-fans-should-believe-in-wildstar
After reading this 'article', I could only conclude one thing: last minute hype grab from 'other' MMOs via badmouthing. Great business approach.
Widlstar is a really crappy game right now. I think the devs know this to an extent and are getting a lot of NCSoft pressure to money grab the initial launch based on hype (and now badmouthing). I don't anticipate Wildstar to go f2p, and it will survive because it appeals to a minute childish audience, but I'll check back on it in a few years to see if it's improved personally.
Kind of like what a lot of people are saying they will do in regards to ESO?

People (players) aren't developers. Best rule of business? Don't badmouth your competitors.
