Properly communicating with us about those fixes would go a long way in alleviating the outcries about bugs. A long way.

They can't give you info on fixes being worked on. Besides there is a topic of known issues so it is a safe bet that they are working on fixes for those.

Of course, this isn't something you dreamed up, you're simply reporting something a totally reliable source said to a friend of your uncle's second niece's third cousin.

    Right?

I think every other Monday should be bug patch. Hot fixes as needed. All other maintenance should be hardware and optimization. New content every 4 to6 weeks without bug fixes.

say what you will about Trion, but it doesnt change the fact that Rift launch was insanely good, and Trion also had superior release cycle for stuff ... ESO doesnt even come close....

HAHAHA. Well you pretty much ruined any credibility you may have had on these boards.

If only you were the spokesperson for these boards your breath may not have been wasted. Never the less speak for yourself.

This made me laugh...I was one of the Unfortunates stuck in Deshaan, and couldnt play my main, I put in a call back ticket, and about 1.5 hours later I got a call from an employee from Zos who was on his first day, and fixed my character to boot. He gave me great service. So I have no idea where your getting this, but it does fall under "FUD" in the TOS.

I am still hanging in there. If so many hate the game why are there so many people on the threads? If the game was a total fail? There wouldnt be anyone on the threads to complain.

I just really REALLY want to see the ability lag issue on NA fixed immediately. It's been severe for 3 days now and Thursday's maintenance did nothing to fix it, for many of us the game is all but unplayable at this time.

Im not saying zenimax are deliberately cutting back on staff, but you can bet they will concentrate on getting back the quarter of a billion they spent on ESO before they even think about expanding staff wise !

Known issues are nothing more than a list of issues. There is no order or timetable for particular issue, no progress, no communication.
With every larger issue (many players reporting it) they could establish a thread for that particular issue where they could start a discussion in terms of continuous feedback. In both directions.
PTS has already proven to be inadequate, so why not use the numbers, knowledge and shear desire to help that is here, on the forum?

And lastly, mere communication (of which there is almost none so far) would help in giving us a feeling of something being done. That's enough in many cases. A simple feeling.
But looking at how subpar their CS is, it's probably never going to happen.

I wish everyone's system was set up exactly the same. It would make it so much easier to fix issues that *everyone* is allegedly having.

I know there are people having major issues with the game to the point it is unplayable for them.

So far, however, it hasn't happened to me. I have a little stutter intermittently, but no major lag. I haven't noticed the major issues that "everyone" is complaining about. No eternal loading screens, no crashes, no freezes. I haven't hit any game breaking bugs yet. So either I have a super special exclusive copy of the game [bought the digital copy], or there are a lot of factors that are causing problems for some players and it isn't a simple easy fix for the problems.

But by all means, keep saying retardation is the reason the devs haven't fixed problems, or saying they just don't want to fix things because it would be too expensive.

You know I hate World of Warcraft, BUT ZOS you can learn on thing from them. They do rolling restart almost 2-3 times a week and put hotfixes in for bugs every few days, why would you guys do it once a week in one big patch, In doing so your creating even more bugs then you make us deal with the bugs for 5-7 days and your making us pay you $15 a month for this crap. WoW!

The don't even do it once a week, try 2-3 weeks. It's redick.

Blizzard is a mammoth company compared to most others.

your $15 in isolation isnt much, how much could you do with $15 a month? Sure there's more subs that your's alone, but no where near the amount for WoW, and Wow's been out long enough to cover the debts/costs accrued during its initial development.

Never wish for another to fail, karma's a b*tch

Erm, WoW started in the same place ZoS is now. Company with success with a few games but not the mainstream success like CoD and it's garbage. WoW gained it's player base through it's commitment to bug fixes, customer service, and content releases. Sadly they ruined the customer service part when they changed management during WotLK I believe, but by that point they were immortal. You build a player base from the ground up. ESO tried to build a great structure, but forgot to secure it's foundation.

I noticed the job listings also, but Zenimax Studios is a large company involved with other operations other than ESO. So how many of those jobs will be used to bolster the ESO developer/support ranks?

Provide us with concrete evidence that your statement is anything more than a ruse to get people to stop playing all because you personally don't like the game. And not "well I heard this from a guy who knows a guy who swears they heard a guy say it".

They said it's didn't cost near 200m much less 250m. And most companies, especially mmo's, think in the long run. Not let's make back our initial investment before any expenses are paid. Quit making stuff up
