    This is great game with many problems . In order to survive those kind of problems Customer support should talk to the customers. Therefore i really would like to give u credits for changing policy and start talking to the people.
    That is most important thing u can do for them/us.

    okay then. you can understand my confusion when I don't see now error and just get a feeze at 24% that practically kills my machine and does kill me internet connection

    I had that problem at university, it is a firewall problem not a server sided problem if it is the same.

    I hope that the black screen after hitting play buttion is also adressed with highest priority. I bought a 2nd account for my son and we are unable to play together cause one of the two PCs doesnt work with TESO. :/

    Error 301 - We are researching the root cause of the error 301 issues, and will provide updates as we have them.

    Rollbacks - Similarly to the error 301 issue, we are researching the root cause of the rollbacks that some of you are experiencing, and will provide updates as we have them.

    Septima Tharn - Contrary to some rumors, Septima Tharn does not have a twin. We are working on a temporary fix for the quest To Walk on Far Shores. That will be pushed out via a hotfix, likely today.

    Loading Screen Infinite Tooltip Loop - Some people were encountering a loading screen issue where tooltips would rotate infiniately and the loading screen would not go away. We pushed a hotfix yesterday that fixed this issue.

    Memory Leak - We have confirmed that the hotfix we pushed yesterday for the memory leak issues has fixed most reported memory leaks. If you encounter others, please let us know.

    Veteran Rank Monsters (not Craglorn) - On Friday, we pushed a hotfix to correct Veteran Rank monster values. Testing has confirmed the hotfix did work, though there may be some monsters who have not respawned since the hotfix who still have old, higher values. If you encounter a monster that has been killed and respawned and you believe it still has the older, higher values, please let us know which one and where it is, and we'll take a look.

    We have also seen some confusion regarding the Death Recap info, and we are discussing ways to make it more clear. Currently, it is adding all damage from certain abilities, such as DoTs, into a single value. This makes it look as if some monster abilities are hitting for far greater in one hit than they actually are.

    thanks for the update, however there are greater concerns for us subscribers based on how this content patch was deployed.

    As an AAA MMORPG and subscription based, ESO, has had a rocky start. When the first big content patch is released, it's with tons of bugs. Not that we are naive in expecting no bugs with patch update (it is the nature of the business), but with the amount of bugs included in the game launch we would expect a better QA process in place. Unfortunately, it really feels like we are paying subscription to QA the game for you, patch after patch. This is unacceptable.

    @Mortannia, that's an add-on issue. One of my guildmates found in his case the add-on that created the problem is exterminatus group leader. If you don't have that one, activate add-ons one by one to see which one is causing the bug :)

    Can we please talk about the change to the container loot distance?

    Why was it necessary to make it such a pain, and in the case of shorter players, sometimes impossible, to do such a simple thing as looting a crate or cabinet?

    I Literally have to Jump on top of said container (boxes, barrels, bookpacks etc...) I thought I read they were going to make it easier, not make it to where you had to be in the "Exact" sweet spot to open??

    Container loot distance sucks now. I too find myself often having to jump onto a container to loot it. Very annoying.

    Any news on 4 stats on Martial Knowledge? 1 weapon damage is quite underwhelming for a VR11 set.

    @Cogo, Your right that a professional (or any) company need to be careful not to provide incorrect information, which is ultimately bad transparency into the company. I think @Sapphy24 has a different point.

    A formal thread to just to say that they are investigating the issue(s), with regular updates, even if the regular updates are just to say.. "We're still working on this" makes all the difference.

    Personally, I think the lack (or thin scattered manner) of communication from Zenimax caused a lot of unnecessary forum threads - littering the forums and hence search results, and customer service tickets to spawn. This has certainly been turned around since yesterday and the (good) transparency that Zenimax are now showing goes a long way, as you can see by the new feedback.

    An early formal thread would have also avoided the bad perception of customer service from the tickets based system. Not every ESO player visits the forums, and for each ticket that was submitted detailing one of the existing issues, a response containing a link to the official thread on the forums (instead of silence) would do wonders.

    As @Sapphy24 says, it's all about the communication and good transparency into what is happening.

    Regardless, it's been somewhat turned around now. We know Zenimax are working on the issues and have already addressed some of the higher priority bugs, as well as posted a formal thread.

    Games of any scale will have many bugs, and any developer will tell you that users are extremely unpredictable, kin to chaos. We can be sure that they will solve the rest, it will just take time. As long as there is proper communication the impact will be softened considerably.

    It's good that you provide info on the current issues. Just curious on why features are being pushed into the game without prior testing.

    The Death Recap thing isn't a bug, just not as clear as it could be.

    I think what would really be helpful is to add what "type" of damage you got from the mobs...such as fire, shock, physical, etc. I know I would like to know that since it's possible to use jewelry with certain resistances that might help if we knew what kind.

    Since 5-22 I can finally get to character select and log in with character. granted it take a bit but it's better then nothing.

    So not being able to play for 3 days the only compensation they were able to give was 1 day of game time... When you screw up this bad you really need to think about a proper apology and this was a screw up, all the bugs in the patch was clearly due to improper testing. & my game is still crashing.

    A lot of people cancelled their subscription because of this patch and just ignoring their grievances doesn't seem to wise. Do something that doesn't cost you money or do nothing and lose money, what's the better business move?

    SET DisableFXPrecaching "1"
    SET PreferExclusiveFullscreen "0"
    SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
    SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"
    SET MonsterTellsEnabled "1"

    though now I see the endless loading screen before the character selection after have successfully logged in.....

    Error Code 201:7:1:1022:1007 Can't really do all the instructions you've asked me to due because I can't log in at all - even after repair or update - oh yeah the launcher freezes on opening with initializing bar at 100% but nothing happening to initialize - oh you can press PLAY but that gets me to the sign-on . So Sign-on not keep getting the error Error Code 201:7:1:1022:1007 -- So much for a 3 day weekend to enjoy a game I'm paying for on a subscription - it all happened after your patch 1.1.2 ..... great product development there -- so here is the situation nothing is changed on my computer other than the recent patch and now it doesn't recognize the user... when will it get fixed -- what kind of bull is this - don't you test a patch before you roll it out or are we to be forever in Beta testing?? What about the lost time for which I have paid for hmmm. Not to mention how many other users have been affected by your sub-par patching.

    I have to admit, I came to this thread (and others) to see if I could find anything about this issue, only to read all the folks having worse issues... who cares if I can't loot a sack on a book case if you can't log in at all, or you can't patch... but I am willing to guess that a lot more folks are being annoyed by not being able to loot that crate, those barrels and so on... I also would be willing to guess they are under different teams, the same developer is not working on both issues.

    If the change to container loot distance is to keep bots from looting them, most of them the location does not change, the bot is just programmed to hit the right spot every time, we poor players don't have that ability, we get frustrated guessing where the sack is, what angle we need to be at, if we need a step ladder to climb to the top of that short book case.

    I know you are doing what you can to limit/eliminate the bots and gold sellers, but I think you need a better/different way.

    An issue a couple of us have had since Craglorn patch:
    Crashing (almost only) while tanking (long description)...

    The other night when I was tanking for our group, my game was crashing at almost every boss fight. (You can imagine the party wasn't happy with this style tanking) I thought maybe it was the memory leak issue, tried all the fixes, checked drivers, etc. Still kept happening. (Friend with same vid card had zero problems during all these fights) Also, I have a brand new computer that had zero problems running game until Craglorn patch.

    Next day, we have the tiny patch and I notice my crashing is much less of a problem, so thought it got fixed but... I'm doing DPS all day and our tank, who I don't recall ever having a crash starts having the same problems I did. He is crashing at virtually every boss fight. After Craglorn's trials and all his crashes, he decides he's had enough and calls it a night. I take over tanking for the group thinking I've not been having that issue anymore and... now I'm the one crashing at almost every boss fight.

    This is a frustrating issue for everyone in the group, not just the guy crashing, especially in trials. That's as descriptive as I can be on the issue, but it makes me think that there could be some issue with whatever computations are going on with aggro perhaps? (Or could even be all the aggro, blocking, healing, buffs, etc. that stack on the tank?)

    Computer wise we both have great systems that don't have issues outside of that one. Both have good net connections, etc. Never had issues before. I disabled add-ons, as did he, before we tanked - I also turned down several of my settings to see if that helped (it didn't seem to). I'm no programmer, but just seems an odd coincidence that might be worth looking into.

    well another day of not being able to patch the game and another step closer to cancelling my subscription and unlike some have said I won't be back. Already already to the time to sign up to beta more reputable MMORPG's

    well ok now it works it takes much time to login (couple of minutes) but it works....

    So did everyones 301 go away? Mine got fixed and disabling some of my addons fixed the loading screens.

    6+ hours here... i suspect our character are getting "stuck" in the game due to the server not correctly logging us out, a few others mentioned this but when i logged out last night before maintenance i got a black screen and game wouldn't close. I didn't think anything of it, and just closed the process, well today i can't log in, and a few others have mentioned similar experiences where the game did not close properly on a log out..

    I also noticed the pattern of login timed out/301 error is consistent it does not matter HOW long you wait between the timed out or 301 errors but you always get them in the same order which really makes me think the server is hiccuping trying to boot our old connection out..

    I'm still can't play more than an hour at a time without getting a low memory warning sometimes with a game crash. I've only had the problem since the patch and repairing the game etc. didn't work

    i have been playing a templar since launch and i only had difficulties with certain bosses however now in veteran 4 area of ali'kir desert i can no longer solo the monsters and i have since it was available used ransack crippling slash biting jabs luminous shards/unstoppable and if it was needed lingering ritual and shield bash/ 1h axe and my ultimate was empowering sweep now this build no longer works for me a customer service rep told me veteran content was not meant to be solo'ed but my guild mates say that is not true and they can solo it no problem, so my question to everyone is what can i do differently to be able to solo veteran 4 areas since my build is no longer effective

    There is currently only two classes in this game, DK and Sorcs.
    Templar's and NB are just 'extras' that have not been removed yet.

    well after 4 days of not being able to play, many 'FRESH INSTALLS' and no help from customer support I decided to try one more time.

    Something you should tell people Zenimax is when they use your uninstall it leaves most of the files there!!! This time after uninstall I went and deleted the Elder Scrolls online folder under program files and all the files the uninstall left in there and the Elder scrolls online folder under documents and this time.............

    It patched fine and loaded up. Something support could have saved me from missing 4 days game play on a long weekend, by simply offering a little help rather than responding with 'We are working on a patch for the patch'

    So I'm in for now, not sure I'm going to stay subscribed at renewal time if this is an indication of the kind of support I'm going to get in the future. I assume from the lack of responses on the board from Zinimax today that they are all off. Geez if I epected a holiday off when people couldn't log into our site, I would be off permanantly
