    Well I'm not sure about you, but I read a lot of different forums and seen a lot of complaining from high level characters that wanted craglorn on time because they were board. They complained very often and very loud. I'm only 10 days after launch cause I waited for cash funds to be full for this, and no where near getting to vr yet. So I could care less if end game people are board. I could care less if mobs are tougher now in the end areas. I just want straight answers and to be able to play.

    Another thing I have noticed is that my weapon damage keeps changing. Such as, during my current repetitive deaths again Lady Larissa, the last attempt I noticed my weapon damage was 158. Died, respawned, now it's 171 (same weapon and ability set and all...). And no, it's not Leeching strikes doing it either. I have noticed my weapon damage changing frequently through out questing, not just this instance.

    Also, I would swear something has changed with the hit boxes. I am finding it much harder to target when having to move around and with multiple NPCs. It seems as though the hit boxes size was seriously reduced.

    Well they could of released it for example on a Monday or Tuesday. Better yet test it longer on PTS.
    2+ days of not being able to log in for a game that I prepaid 3 months ahead for.

    How about you fix caltrops ruining PvP or the broken vampire hunger cost reductions or tge other hundreds of bugs instead of worrying about people choosing to skip your games crappy content you clowns.

    @Mortannia I found the ESC not working after a while was related to one of my out of date mods. When I disabled the out of date ones, it was OK again.

    You can use /quit in the chat to quit the whole game, or /camp to go back to the character selection screen where you can get back into the settings and disable addons.

    Thanks for the communication. I can't speak for everyone, but a bit of humility from ZOS reminds me that we all want this ambitious project to succeed, customer and supplier alike. I'll reserve my more critical (but hopefully constuctive) comments for other threads. Please continue to be open with us. I appreciate it and I'd appreciate it even more if it was a bit sooner forthcoming.

    Thats great, Is there any word on the EU server relocation?. Also some word on the pvp fixes i.e caltrops among other things would be good it needs hotfixing asap. Content should be put on the backburner for a month or so to concentrate on fixes.

    Last Game I saw doing patches right before the weekend... is no longer in business due to that and failing to prioritize the issues that needed to be fixed

    I think there is a misunderstanding about the VR-content mobs, and I don't think the reports you're getting from many separate sources are all due to us not getting how you lump damage together on the death recap. Death recap isn't the issue- death speed is the issue. Many people are getting literally blown up- you see it just running through the zone. And this didn't happen before this patch.

    The mobs' health has generally returned to normal, but the damage is still very high to what it was previous to the Craglorn patch, despite the idea we're just 'misunderstanding'.

    More damage than ever is getting through blocks, even when you have plenty of Stamina, and are specced fully into 1h/shield to give yourself more mitigation.

    VR mobs (especially casters) are essentially spamming their special attacks, and yes, you can dodge them, or block some of them, but it gets to the point, especially as melee that you're GOING to get hit by something they're throwing. To the tune of 1500 damage.

    Have someone check out Thunderbugs in Ebonheart Pact VR-8 Greenshade for a good example of what I'm describing. I am VR-7 and softcapped at 1926 spell resist, and even while blocking- two of those things together can destroy me because they never really stop spamming their special attacks. And I had zero problems with any mobs prior to this patch.

    Something has either gone wrong in their damage or cooldowns, or in our spell resist or armor mitigation, and I'm not sure how you're not seeing it.

    This is exactly why I did not subscribe for multiple months at a time to begin with. Then I'm not stuck my sub comes up for renew in a couple days and from the looks of it.... it won't be renewing....

    never had an issue all through beta up until this patch and now the patch won't even complete...

    Thanks for your post and fixing the memory leak.

    With this fixed, I managed to play for quite a few hours today and make a lot of quest progress in Craglorn, which was good fun.

    I know there are quite a few outstanding issues for others. Most notably the 301 errors and login loop. I hope a fix for all of you experiencing this issue is implemented soon!

    The next thing I am hoping for is the EU server relocation. A lower latency might even fix the weapon swapping issues. I have a feeling a lot of the complaints with this are down to lag.

    There's still weapon swapping issues on the NA server when you live in NA. It happens to me every fight when I try to switch weapons in combat. But that was 4 days ago. I have no idea if it's still a problem because I can't log in still.

    and just to eliminate a further possibility, I have now download and installed steam game to the location I was trying to patch ESO and it didn't stop at 24% it downloaded and installed completely... nothing wrong with the drive.

    NPC's just North of Hrogar's Hold Wayshrine in Stonefalls. I am VR12, and a VR6 Shadowsilk Witch (it had 2582 HP, is that normal?) hit me with this (I am not a vampire and have 1900 spell resist):

    It was my fault, I was running through the area collecting skyshards, looking at my map and just bam, dead. I had taken damage already from a fall. You just don't expect NPC's 6 levels below you to do that kind of damage.

    Spell resist alone is not enough, in addition you need to resist the damage source in that case fire.

    Iam a templar any idea when bitting jabs is getting fixed? and when all thos quest archievements are getting fixed? i have more problems with those things then loading screen or error msg yeah it sounds selfish, but everytime i have something it is always the last thing that got fixed lol, for example the archievement are already broken since 1st week january in the PTS and still ntohing so yeah..and iam not paying for other people problems to get fixed but that i can play myself the way i should play...

    sorry i know it sounds selfish, but not intent to do that ..so sorry for that.

    Your first mistake is in calling testing our "Jobs"! We aren't paid to test the game!     The most important thing is communication, if you don't have good communication you don't have anything of value. All we ask is, Please, Please communicate clearly what is happening. Remember.. we are paying customers and being left to guess is simply a path to your demise. I appreciate you have a lot on your plate and you are working on many problems, but those who have problems, may find it hard to look past them with little or no information regarding what is happening to rectify things.
    I love the game but i'm sad that my flatmate still hasn't got an answer to his 5 bug reports in the last 4 days.

    One addon that causes this is one I work on: "Exterminatus Group Leader." There is no indication whatsoever (UI errors etc.) to indicate why. There are other plugins causing it (I'm not sure which ones) - one guildie in particular did not see the end of the issue when they disabled extGroupLeader. I'm going to investigate it more to see what the issue is.

    While I do agree with you that the communication, especially now in the early days of the game, is important. Zenimax showed that this weekend.

    Sometimes the moderator simply doesnt have any real fact to say. Just because they have located a problem, even found a fix or several fixes/workaround, communicating that they are close to a solution would not be the smartest thing to do, before the managing tech person have proben that it works. THEN the DEVS can communicate this.

    What if they said they are close to a solution, and it ends up that the fix creates even more problems. Do you want the DEVS to communicate "Guys, what I said before was a little rash, we are still working on the fix)

    In one message, that will ruin a lot of credibility of the very important communication with us.

    The information MUST be correct, and they know this.

    Look back this weekend on all the DEVS posts. NOT ONE was anything then the outright honest truth and more then likely communicated as soon as possible.

    They where not so good a a month ago about this. A vast improvement and if they keep this up, then they are communicating correctly

    Also, look at this thread or the 1000 others that DEMANDS a response from the DEVS. Dont you think they would like to give one, but one letter wrong when you have an angry mob after you....will turn this into a circus.

    Zenimax is defently on the right path. I too want information as fast as possible, but the proper information, just like they are doing.

    Don't agree. The achievements explanation looks wrong. it is not just cosmetic and the hot fix did not revert things. Even the explanation as to why the revert wasn't fully working was wrong.

    I get the very strong impression that whenever a CS goes to the dev team with whatever the latest patch screw up is the answer always begins with:

    'Just tell 'em ...'

    Pretty much every single VR mob deals alot more damage than they used to before 1.1.2 I could withstand a groups of 3 without dying now its barely doable with just 2. Death recap shows damage in range of 300-800 and I'm softcapped with resists and armor (about 2.2k each).

    I think its pretty much selfexplaining. That when you get a nobody NPC assistant on a quest. he is an incarnation of Hercules compared to the "Hero".

    thanks for at least officially listing the 301 error as a known problem..been waiting 3 days for that to happen lol. now if it would just get fixed so i could get some play time in before the long weekend was over...

    its been confirmed by many people myself included that this issue is server side...most of us got this problem after the game crashed from the memory leak/other and im assuming your server thinks we are still logged in or something on those lines..couldn't you guys just restart the servers or something in hopes that some of us might be able to log in again until the problem is found and resolved?


    When the loading screen was taking too long for me I did alt+f4 to get out the game and try again. It worked for me, at least at the second time I tried everytime I could log in with success.
