Crossfire causing my game to freeze.

Every time I use the new fullscreen mode and activate crossfire ( two 7970 GE) I will get a game freeze after a couple of minutes of game play. I first tried in eyefinity mode, then I went back to a single monitor. Either way I had a freeze within minutes. whenever I disable crossfire and go back to fullscreen windowed mode I no longer have issues with freezes. I have not yet tried to play in fullscreen and disable crossfire so I do not know if it is a problem with the new fullscreen or just crossfire.

Close your launcher if you have it open. It causes freezing.

I always close my launcher, that is not the issue.

I was also crashing after using crossfire in ESO, but I'm not sure yet whether or not it is a issue with ESO or the always flakey AMD drivers. Seems like there are always issues with AMD cards and I'm about ready to go back to Nvidia.

You think you wil have more succes with sli? Multi gpu is a nightmare in general and switching to nvidia isnt going to help. Your better off switching to a single powerfull gpu imo. Im in the same boat and i wil never go cf or sli ever again. With that said ive no trouble running this game with AFR. Its one of the few games that i can run with AFR without issues.
