can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

    70+ hours and we still cant log in????This is the worst CS in a subscription game, that i ever played and i played alot. Problem is,as someone said, is lack of communication within ZOS. At least thats how it seems to me, that none of the departments there have no clue what other departments are doing :) I am also a very patient man,and a HUGE fan of Elder Scrolls, and this game too. But after seeing their lack of competence,and not being able to log in for 3+ days, i am also thiking about canceling subscription. Which is sad ,coz really eagerly waited for this game...
    I guess what i am trying to say is, all of us players just wanna play the game that we r paying for. We dont want to flush our DNS,uninstal Antivirus,buy a spaceship,etc etc. We just want to play the game !!! So PLEASE ,ppl in CS,sit around one big tabble alltogether and fix this issue already!!!

    i agree this is the worst CS in a subscription game. i think a lot of us are losing are patients with the moron staff. sorry for being blunt but its the honest truth, plus i dont think they know there heads from there you know what. plain and simple other wise they wouldnt be telling us its our issue and not there and so on....

    Wondering the same question. Definitely seems copy-and-paste to me. Both my ticket responses have been very general "do these 100 things" instructions.

    13 pages and all we have is basic tech support that has fixed the game for no one, and no update of what the problem is and that they are working on it.

    I hope they are enjoying those memorial day beers, because they're gonna have a lot less subs to pay for them with afterwards.

    4. Go back to game and log in

    So it really hurts...

    I got that on friday aswell, and noticed that after that there was a survey in the email with in 15 min which tells me they clicked solved. When it's not solved. Just pushing tickets throu.

    really seems like a server restart could be an immediate fix for people stuck with error 301... i imagine it could just happen again, but maybe not?

    They could have tried it, The night of the patch when all these problems started they could have done emergency maintenance (EM) as well to fix these problems. Instead of having 50 threads pop up VR mobs to OP, EM apply patch - good to go. That might have reset the accounts that are having problems. It would have at least narrowed down the problems in question.

    Already tried yesterday, also with other internet provider. But it is server side account problem, because from the same PC/network with other account is possible to log in and play.

    It seems like customer support has no technical insight whatsoever about this problem. How could anything we do client side fix an issue that is clearly server side? It's like no one is talking to each other over there.

    Might as well ask us to wave dead chickens over our computers to solve this problem. Enough people have wasted their time barking up that sad old tree to know that nothing they can do will get them back into the game.

    It's good that some people have finally logged in, but who knows of it was some automated process or action that was taken. It is probably because a process somewhere got rebooted and it fixed some of the accounts.

    As a developer myself I can tell you that it's very unlikely a bug is going to get you fired. It's not always possible to fault any single person for a problem. And the guy who created the bug is not always the guy who fixes it. It is too easy to make assumptions and assign blame.

    The customer support surrounding this issue though has been indirect and poorly handled. It seems like they are willing to offer you false hope as a means of curbing your frustration. Please read and comprehend the nature of the problem and stop making people think they can do anything but wait!

    If you're like the rest of us, that's a negative ghost rider. It seems account based. No matter what we do, we're not getting in until ZoS fixes it, and they so far wont even admit there is a problem, just that they are looking into it to see if there is.

    In my experience, CS sends a generic 'easy fixes' reply, then I reply to that and say 'nope it's not fixed' and then they escalate it to the higher tier tech fixers.

    So, make sure you reply to that first email and simply say 'I tried all your steps and they did not work' and they will escalate it.

    As far as how long it takes after that.. mmm.. hopefully I get my sub time reimbursed for this.

    My suggesiton to fix my account after 2 or 3 stupid replies from them...

    1. Find my UserID in the Database
    2. Log me off from the server side.
    3. The server thinks I am online due to a database lockup on my account record.
    4. Other solution is to Restart the server to fix everyone's login issues and then figure out the bigger problem.
    5. Tell everyone to log off correctly by clicking the log off button and waiting for it so the server does not lock u down again.


    This is the response from them:

    "However unfortunately, we are unable to accept unsolicited ideas regarding The Elder Scrolls Online. This is for legal reasons. But we are very grateful for feedback and suggestions any players may have."

    Unsubscribed ... and playing a new MMO that is about to get released in a few days.
