NO thanks. PLEASE stop suggesting all these moronic lore-destroying add-ons.. PLEASE!!
It's ironic you keep talking about 'destroying Lore,' being as you appear to have no knowledge of what is and isn't a part of the Lore. You keep making comments in different threads making claims that certain things aren't a part of the Lore when in fact, they are.
OK, so show me then, where have I been wrong wrt to lore? Huh? Come on! And no links to Shoddycast's Youtubes, please.

Pretty easy to find, have a nice day.
Nothing there says I have been wrong with my concerns about lorefriendliness. Also, he said PLAYABLE races. Lumia and centaurs never were their own nation-states, which is what use to be the defining status for playable races in ES games.
Oh - and elderscrolls.wikia.com is ***, it is on level with Shoddycast. Use www.uesp.net instead.

Lol I know it mentions highrock as a place but does not mention that Lamia come from there but the wikia site does.
I use both and I KNOW uesp is more comprehensive but it can also be a but more superficial and wikia can add some depth SOMETIMES.

Lamia
Found in: Daggerfall, ESO
With a link to the Daggerfall bestiary too. Now use your head: if an aquatic creature is found in the game of Daggerfall, what province would that be?

But in all seriousness all races in ESO are all new currently.
No. Dwemer have long since been extinct at the time of ESO's setting. Snow Elves, there are only two left of, in a hidden valley in Skyrim. Falmer - how would you realistically play a _blind_ race? Besides, there is no evidence of Falmer outside Skyrim (OK, Solstheim, but that is not in the game at this point) so it would kinda limit the opportunities....
It's possible. There's very little info available on the Tsaesci. It's possible that they are related in that they come from the same original stock, like the way that the Altmer are related to the Orsimer. So these Lamias aren't related to the Tsaesci of Akavir then? That's the vibe I got anyway... *shrug*

Just to clarify, theres no intel about them being extinct, only missing at some point of the history (with many theories around).
Tho, I agree with you. Theres no need to mess with what its been like it is for all of the TES saga so far.
Well, I forgot which game had this, but once you unlocked a high level, you could play as a monster, only, it was in their own world/instances, with their own stories and quests.
Taking this into a plausible way of implementing the OP's wish, just for argument/discussion's sake, it would then open up a 4th faction in pvp, player controlled monsters.
I agree that having giant snakes, lamias, hags etc, roaming in Tamriel would not work, if they were in their own areas, like an oblivion plane for example, then I do not think it could harm the game or the immersion.
Just my 2 cents

That would be Dragon Age Origins DLC. Interesting concept, but not for ESO.
