After launching ESO from the patcher, clicking play, entering my password, and clicking LOGIN, I get stuck at "requesting login..."
After 60 seconds, I get the message Login Error Login timeout. If I retry immediately it says "requesting login..." for 3 seconds, then I get this error:
Error 301 (3:1:1229:90098) Unable to connect to server. Please try again. Should the problem persist contact Customer Support: etc.
This has been going on for about 3 hours now. I was playing fine all day after patching successfully.
So far I have tried:
Manually checking for updates in the launcher
Repairing my install
Launching ESO from ESO.exe
Launching ESO.exe as administrator
Launching Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe as administrator
Rebooting my modem and router
Disabling anti virus and firewall entirely
My reference/ticket code is 140523-018047
I started patching on my laptop just to see if I could login. Of course at 96% it decided to redownload the entire patch again.
