"The Endless War" quest in Coldharbour is broken now.

I cannot get the quest to count the use of the strange seeds. The popup appears to use it, I click, no animation happens, and the icon goes gray. It even takes a seed out of my inventory. However the quest does not count the use of the seed towards completion.

I ran into the same bug, but managed to complete it. Abandon the quest and start over. Talk to the seed girl, but don't talk to any of the other two. Kill the mobs one at a time and carefully plant the seeds on the corpses. Be careful not to plant the seed twice and be sure there are no other players around trying to loot the corpse or plant their own seeds. When I did this I was able to complete it and move on to the other two mages.

Oh yeah, wanted to mention that the first time I did that it got bugged there were a bunch of bots training around in a circuit and I was trying to fight them for the kills. This may have had something to do with it getting bugged.

tried fixing quest... in every imaginable way... no help.

*abandon quest. retake quest. no help.
*abandon quest. logout/login. retake quest. no help.
*take quest, get seeds, logout/login, no help.
etc etc etc etc...
you can't even fathom the many wierd desperate things i have tried LoL

been in the area by myself at 4 a.m...
planting seeds still does not animate corpse.
takes seed from inventory, but no corpse change, no quest credit.
i can plant 6 seeds on 6 bodies...
quest still says '0/6 planted' *sigh*
nothing happens, bodies never disappear, just sit there glowing.

Just a heads up. I completed this just now. I grouped with someone, and they were able to do it while I got credit.

HOWEVER I myself could still not interact

And seeing as how I like to complete all the quests I come across this issue and losing my achievements have really put a bad taste in my mouth. I loved this game until this horrible patch came out.

with zero success. I have not gotten ANY seeds to work, under any circumstances, and remain 0/6 no matter what I've tried to do. Pushing this to Customer Support would be helpful, I spent another three hours this morning trying various 'fixes' suggested on the forums and in zone chat.

worked for me, mostly. with three players, we managed to get enough successful seeding to complete the quest.

My husband and i have both had issues, put in a customer support ticket all there suggestion are worthless will be trying the convoluted method this evening from the forums and see if that works.

There are at least 6 separate threads on this... maybe it would help if the moderators close this thread (and others) in favor of this one which seems to have more information about the various fixes people have tried and their on-going troubles with this quest.

The bunch of bots are still there training round in a circle, so I avoided the mobs they were killing. Still no dice.
