They did nothing to you specifically, this hits everyone as hard as you. Maybe you are not meant to be VR10 if you can't handle it. Why should every build be viable?
Be exceptional in the way you execute your build. Being special because you are running a funny build concept shouldn't be your aim.
Adapting to harder difficulty by changing how you play is where true sense of accomplishment should be. Remember the games you played 15 years ago? There were no handholding, and "balance" did not mean that you were on equal footing with every other class. You have your niche and your role and if you're unhappy about it please don't cry about it.
If you call well argumented critics "whining" I am wondering why you send a reply at all.
If people here, or myself, screaming that Zenimax is bad and blablabla, I believe your opinion would be valid. Now you have nothing to add to the discussion.
Second, if you read posts in this thread and if you would have read my post you can imagine that I have thought very well about my build. I am the player that participated in the beta and made many calculations and comparisons to come to a valid PvE tanking build. The plan with my build was going very well, up until the patch it was working excellent, just the way I had intended. After the patch NONE of my builds is working anymore.
Third, Zenimax stated that everyone can play the game as they want to play the game. Ofcourse this doesn't count for everything, but still, it's something that should be a goal in the development of their game, their patches, the future of this entire MMO. Now it's starting to look more and more like everyone should eventually come to some sort of meta build. Preassuming that you know what a meta build is, I think it's safe to say that following a meta build is not "play the game how you want to play it".
Well argumented feedback is not whining.

I still stand by my idea that it would be a breath of fresh air if monsters you have to fight during questing and exploring should be able to kill you easily. You would have to utilize CC skills and general awareness of your surroundings to manage them. Maybe even enforce grouping for the hardest one-shotters which are CC immune.

Apologies for the choice of wording. This thread got the brunt of my increasing disgruntlement with us gamers starting to expect:
1. We should be able to complete most aspects of a multiplayer game solo
2. That every class can be equal, that no class should wipe the floor with every other one in a 1v1 case. It again goes back to the multiplayer aspect.
I think both are wrong, and I can whine for a long time about it.
Apologies again for the tone and the derailment. I shall get back on the intended track:

I recognize the point of view is to extreme, even I would probably not enjoy it for long. But going the opposite direction with every game I play worries me more.

Some VR content and monsters are indeed more difficult after yesterday’s patch, though this change was unintended. We are working on a fix now to revert the difficulty back to what you were familiar with prior to patch 1.1.2, and plan to have this rolled out in the next 24 hours. Thanks for your reports and patience.

Dreads the thought of encountering mobs with one or more healers

I recommend actually testing your patches going forward.

no please dont fix this so called oops that you made with this patch, finally mobs are somewhat hard and i have to think abit befor i just jump into a grp of mobs.
this might also make players grp up abit more or help each other more, rather then just run past each other to get to NeXT quest fastere.
