Veteran mobs - twice the HP and twice the damage

    I just ran into two Warelwolves in Malabar Tor (EP VR9) and honestly not even close.
    Yeah, yeah, I know L2P, adapt blah blah, but seriously .. do they really expect everyone to just re-spec and re-equip after each patch?

    Well most really hard hits (from mages and form archers have ether charge animation or cast time) and should ether be avoided or interrupted or blocked. Makes combat a lot less "'yolo" and a lot more involved.

    I'm currently leveling a vr3 DK alt (dk got nerfed hard) and having 0 difficulty killing things i was killing before it just takes like 5-10 sec longer and all bosses still have same hp and do same damage only normal mobs got exp/power buffed.
    I have to give a credit to AD pack of Vampires with VR10 Night Mistress leading them (seriously VR10 10 days after the official release?).

    That is just great... now they will see the errors and take down the game for the whole weekend to "try" fix it. I just wanna play my alt and not touch VR at all!

    So what's with the weaker than normal mobs bosses that people have been reporting?

    Eg, mobs while fighting your way to boss has 4k health hitting like truck and the boss itself has 3k and hits normally.

    Umm, DK got buffed. Not nerfed. Sure, talons is a little bit smaller, but not that bad. They got buffed in multiple skills.

    Just reading the comments here makes me stressed. I mean we europeans had a dificult time in veteran content already because of delay problems.. many times I cant interrupt casting abilities cause by the time I see the enemy casting im eating up the dmg.. other times I see the area of effect indicator in the ground and im eating up dmg althoutgh I am like 3 meters outside the indicated area..

    So if the mobs are hitting like this after the patch it will be unplayable by me right? I guess I have to witness the situation with my own eyes..

    I really do hope this was an error and I hope even more that this will be fixed soon, very soon. Tamriel has always been my favorite fantasy world and in all honestly I've been pleased with the chance to finally dive into this vast world in its semi-entirety with friends and more. Unfortunately... I'm Vet 9, about 1.5 million exp from vet 10 and about to enjoy Craglorn. Only to get the door slammed by zombies, dwemer constructs, and angry necromancers with staffs, all of them of which, to me, with spells active have over 2500 Spell resist and Armor, plus 2500 health, can make those numbers seem completely pointless.
    This one is as men and mer say "free". Their words blind and and hollow like this one's grin masks his tears as he clutches his chains with joy. Ra'Myes is a khajiit like all his kin. But this one is never free. This one bears the secrets taught as a cub and keeps them close and keeps none with more care than the secret of freedom. And yet, this one is not free.     Dk nerfed hard? What do u mean? Shield bash was nerfed right but that has nothing to do with DK..

    First, yes they DID increase VP gain while killing mobs in Veteran Zones. Last night I was getting 42 VP per mob in my VR6 zone, today I get 284 iirc. Granted I can count on almost one hand how many of those I actually killed since the VR6 mobs have MORE Health than all but some VR11 Craglorn mobs. Now, I can deal with the extra health, it's not really that big of deal, but I am dying to 2 packs now and just last night I could chain pull 3 packs of 3 mobs each and live.

    Also, I spent 6 hours in Craglorn today to explore and try it out (I'm VR5 in full blues) and I CAN SOLO SEVEN PULLS of some VR11 mobs, but I'm dying to 2 pulls in a VR6 zone, me thinks there's an error there. I have zero issue with Vet zones having difficulty, and I think they were tuned reasonably well pre-1.1.2, but after tonight, there's no way I'm going to bash my way through quests, dying repeatedly and burning through pots like they're crack-cocaine. ZoS NEEDS to address this asap, take down the servers and fix whatever dumb crap you did, I don't even care if you take back the bonus VP gain, just please fix it.

    Doesn't help, I'm in full VR5 blues with 100% epic glyphs, about 300 overcharged on both Resist and Armor (1 CD and I'm beyond VR10 hard cap of 2600), within 84 pts of Health overcharged, Fire/Poison/Disease HARD capped and I'm being 3 shot in a VR6 zone when I can deal with 7 pulls in Craglorn (VR11 mobs) solo, not easily but doable. I also have +25% healing to self and nothing is working. It's health pot to... dead before the 30s CD is up. I can still kill the mobs as fast as last night (within 1-2 seconds) but all the sudden every mob hits like a storyline boss, even if they're just throwing something at you (melee mobs at range).

    EDIT: It also seems that 75% of mobs in Vet zones 1-10 are seeing right through NB Invisibility today. I use Shadowy Disguise and have all 3 mobs of a 3-pack run right up to me and *** slap me.

    Inhale was nerfed, you are right, I forgot about that. I already covered talons, and its not that big of a deal for me at all so far. Banner always pulsed only on 6 targets from the tests we did before the patch (per tick). Ult generation on aoe is not a dk nerf, its global. Shield bash, same thing. Impulse, yup, again, not a dk thing at all.

    Burning breath buffed.
    Razor armor fixed.
    Petrify buffed.
    Spiked armor buffed.
    Talons now damage snare immune creatures (buffed).
    Burning embers buffed.

    Though I, myself, am still a bit invested in this game, this new change has finally put me over the edge to where I would advise a friend not to buy/play it. I'm logging on less and less as it is. I'm not looking forward to continuing to V level.

    Perhaps they upped the difficulty to force people into groups before hitting Craglorn? You know, to acclimate the people who have made it solo so far to the fact that they can't play solo past V10.
    This is all part of the game.

    Except Craglorn is easier to solo than VR6 right now.

    This change is a coding error. It's gotta be. It makes Craglorn content easier than the Veteran Level content before it.

    This is just a joke, i hope Craglorn is good if its also disappointing as the rest of the game then i am not going to pay anymore.

    Sounds to me like they doubled the wrong thing cause I quested all day yesterday and barely made a dent in my VR 7 bar and I was getting mangled by mobs that I should have little issue with. At least I'll get time to work on my other character till this is fixed.

    This is what is pi$sing people off...if we had been able to properly test the new content BEFORE it was released, this may have not happened.

    Yeah I highly doubt it was just accidental that they increased the health and damage of mobs.

    This was obviously a stealth addition that was a horrible decision, and not only negates the extra xp vr mobs give now, but actually makes things even worse. I was hoping VR leveling wouldn't be the grind it is was prior to this patch, but instead of getting easier, it's that much harder. Good luck doing any Craglorn content if you arent VR8+.

    Craglorn is stupid easy, I spent 6 hours there today at VR5 with full blues and could solo 7 packs of VR11 mobs. There is no good reason that VR6 should be twice as hard or more than content tuned specifically for 4 players that's 5 ranks higher.

    This stuff happens, seen it in several mmorpg's. Something in the coding-machinery goes wrong when a patch goes live. Maybe vet mobs got the same value as something in Craglorn.

    Because it can't be intentional, not when they proclaimed that leveling would be easier and faster. Not when a vet 10-12 area has been released. Common sense.

    Problem is how long it takes for them to fix this kind of stuff. In other mmorpg, they emergency hotfix 1 day after a major patch, if needed. Seems Eso only get fixes that are strictly scheduled from someone above, so vet mobs might be a pain for a little to long.

    Also, no communication or responses about these issue. They really need more active community staff.

    Alright to satiate the nay sayers I went back to VR5 for me which is The Rift and fought a few mobs while doing a couple quests that I hadn't completed. I was just in this zone 3 days ago so am very familiar with how well I did against them. Other than the mobs having a little more health they were exactly the same to kill, so it is in fact (at least for AD) VR6-VR10 zones that got effected. In fact the packs of mobs in the VR5 zone were about the same difficulty as the VR11 packs in Craglorn lol.

    well now every fight with mobpacks of 2+ is like bossfights. Trying to figure out what will work and hope they will not stun you or oneshot with sneaky dagger throw or some heavy hitting spell. I am trying to do one quest I already did yesterday but for some reason they rolled back and I have to do it again. Yesterday it was challenging. I completed it without major problems. Had to be carefull with packs of 3 and with boss but it was all ok. Today i can't get past mobpacks of 3. It's just impossible to kill them. Already trying to do this quest for an hour. Trying a lot of skill combinations (with a lot of stuns to try to even the odds) but it's no use if mobs just hit like trains with abilities taking 500-1000 dmg per hit.
