Does the Craglorn expansion limit solo players?

Craglorn is intended for group end game content, to keep the level russians happy. Solo players will get their end game content too in time.

That will assume you are vr12.

If you arent(and you get it in craglorn) sorry! Hosed!

group content in an MMO? NO WAY!

I can't get my head around why someone would pay a sub for an MMO and then want to play it solo.

Is the issue that it is hard to find groups at veteran levels?

Some of us play in pairs and have been so jaded by other games' communities that "making new friends" isnt going to happen.

Ill tag along with a crowd. Send an invite? Ill decline.

Not to be mean, but the problem might lie in your approach and not the game design. It's like we're all getting ready to play dodgeball, and you want to play too, but you don't want to be on either team...looks like you might be sitting this one out.

It's an online game. Solo play is secondary. If they don't force group content people will play it as solo and that's not online gaming. Take Left 4 Dead 2, the group play is the must and the solo play is boring as ***. With that said they should erase solo questing and phasing. I think either group of solo players and group players get *** in this. I think the best solution is one content for each group since they are trying to appeal both. Crag is my group content, don't whine about it and I won't whine when the next content be a solo one.

We were sold on "no mandatory grouping" and no game Ive played puts out major content patches consisting of exclusively solo or exclusively group content.

For example, wow patch 5.2 Isle of Thunder. Raid, island of soloable quests and dailies, faction tagged boss mobs and a world boss raid mob.

Craglorn could have been done similarly but it wasnt. My duo will see it in 2016 after I get nothing from it.

The point is you should be able to choose. I like to group up when I CHOOSE to, I don't want to forced to group just to level up.

I agree.. i spend a large amount of time either soloing, or grouping with my husband. Even if my brother joins us for some content, will that even be enough for 4 manning Craglorn? Also, will this mean we have to be on the exact same part of a quest in order to progress as a group? The problem i do see with questing with groups on quite a few occasions is, many i have grouped with skip past dialog and then get impatient while having to wait for me or others to see dialog. And i am not going to skip dialog just to make someone happy. In some quests i have done with someone, i lost my dialog due to them somehow influencing my own dialog. It could be a bug though, but an annoying one. Especially when you have been working on the main story line for hours and then come the final piece, you end up in a group, but dialog cuts me off when party member skips through it (because they have seen it and can't be bothered) while for me, I feel completely cheated out of the experience. So will this pose as an issue in Craglorn?

Bottom line, why should solo players miss out on an entire zone and the fun of adventuring and questing. It would have been SO MUCH better to offer us a choice. Or the very least.. just kept the mechanics exactly how its been in all the previous areas.

Yay! Great, now after weeks of questing and griding endlessly, you force me to go to a place where i need to find a group (when i can barely see someone to do dolmens) to do more questing and griding and give me no alternatives (to solo)? Seriously? Why you guys make so hard to me to love this game?
