For the level you are now what you should be doing to advance are the main quests and points of interests. At your current level I think they give around 30k xp each. The point is you should be able to choose. I like to group up when I CHOOSE to, I don't want to forced to group just to level up.

Ignore the cyberbullies in this thread and others like it. No, we aren't idiots because we want solo content. Everyone is different and part of an MMO is being able to run through solo content.
People who want to play single player should be welcome in ESO. With only a few exceptions, this MMO is more solo-player friendly than many others. For example, even in vet areas the quests are solo'd, the main story is solo.
Report all bullies when you see them! Don't let them get away with this. The only way to repair a toxic community is to identify, ostracize and eliminate toxic members. Not all customers are good ones and customers aren't always right, but sometimes they are.
