As a NB I have to have a more tactical (less IMPULSE LOLSPAMM!!!) approach but it doesn't mean it's hard.

I can basically 2-shot the healer, stun lock the DPS and then finish the tank off with over 50% health.

When it comes to the solo dungeon boss fights there is usually no challenge (so far up to VR4). 6.6K health is a joke when I can eat 3.5K of it in the first attack and then spam my Impale soon after.

The only exceptions to this general rule are the group dungeons (definitely NEED a group for those fights) and the guys with 11K+ health. Everything else is fodder and rarely requires any advanced tactics.

I would hate to see the VR mobs get nerfed, I think they're a bit easy/where they should be. As of now I am able to solo through easily...or group for the public dungeons if I have people to run with and feel like being social.

My PvE experience hasn't changed at all from 1-50 to VR1-10. All PvE contents seems rather easy to me. Or better, not particularly difficult but not too easy. Judging from my personal experience I'd say it is fine.

Vet content is somewhat challenging and I find that I have the most fun when I group up with one or two friends from my guild. For the most part, I can solo most of the content on my Templar tank but certain pulls are kind of rough, particularly if there are multiple casters/archers firing away at me that I can't bunch up and AoE/CC. Running around with a friend makes a big difference and makes it a lot more fun.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Vet content for now. It's challenging enough that I don't feel like I'm just rolling my face on the keyboard to win like I was when leveling up to 50. Plus it's grindy enough that it's taking a decent amount of time to get up to VR10 since I'm not making it a point to level as quickly as possible.

I have no trouble at all with veteran content. On my first char I had reached the VR10 zone by the time I was VR7 and was clearing the zone with absolutely no problem. I was able to run all three of the VR1-5 vet dungeons with a random group of VR1-VR3 players (granted one of the players had experience with the dungeons and already knew strategies for most of the bosses). I'm leveling another char through the VR zones now (currently VR2 in the VR3 zone) and again having zero trouble (difficulty wise... boredom wise I'm frustrated out of my mind), even while leveling up a new weapon line (resto staff) and running a sub-par set of skills (in order to finish skilling up in a couple of my class lines).

All that said, veteran content needs to change. I'm sick to death of quests, especially ones I've already done (looking at you cadwells almanac). Dungeons provide reasonably decent exp, but I'm currently trying to force myself through the almanac quests so that I don't have to think about them anymore. I honestly can't stomach the idea of leveling another char despite really wanting to try out the other classes.

Some of the missions are hard. When you got twenty mobs attacking you in some quest it is quite hard for one member. This is the time it be nice to take a guilde mate and go OMG we did it! But we can't

Most solo bosses and packs of three are easy though.

In addition when many mobs are on screen, more chance for lag. Sometimes abilities don't go off, and forget about a three second delay for weapon swap. So you are almost limited to five skills. Again a friend would be a great asset at this point.

Did a prevent a queen assignation, was hard, needed friend. Then now a vampire quest in riverspine over a queens life. like twenty mobs

I'm playing a Night blade and find VR content no more contentious than normal content. Playing Bow/ S+Sh

Once the buginess of the abilities in NBs are fixed they'll be just fine. Currently of the 15 class abilities 10 have known bugs.

My Nighblade is VR6 now and is doing most quests solo. Its neither hard nor easy.

Thing is, combat is unforgiving. I can smash into a group with 2 mobs and be at 20% HP within seconds OR I can smash into the same group of mobs and stay above 90% HP. It all depends on how I set up the fight, if I interrupt and if I simply target the proper enemy at the proper time with the proper skill.

I really love this aspect of ESO combat and IMO its what set the game apart from many other MMOs. Its not all about blind dumb dps when you're fighting alone (unless of course when it go overboard with certain OP builds but that's another matter).

People that think the fights are too "hard" probably just arent flexible enough. Sure there are some very hard enemies that I think go over the top - trolls/gargoyles/harvesters etc. Quest bosses are far, far easier than these foes. But they're not impossible. With the right skills you can bypass much of it. Bow/scatter, staff/touch and dualwield/sparks cover quite alot. I can facetank many 20K+ HP poorly designed worldbosses without taking any damage if I want too, its just bloody annoying and take time, lol.

I only vote this way because I feel that casual players should be able to invite a friend or spouse to help them. Plus VR zones need to be more balanced. Some stuff is faceroll easy while some content is one-shot insta death stupid. Like maybe the crit tables are out of whack. Anyways. I don't want to see a nerf so much as I would like to see balancing and an option to invite a friend or spouse.

Veteran content is fine its just very glitchy and sometimes bugged. That's my only beef with it. 1/2 way through vr9 now so almost done though.

I am a NB using bow and one-handed.

I keep an extra weapon with a flame enchant just for trolls... with that I never have any problem with them. Granted, I have arcane fighter passive for two-hander which increases my chance of applying a status effect (burning) on the target. When that status effect goes onto the troll he is essentially interrupted and stunned for 2 seconds. Plus it counters his health regen. I highly suggest using a flame weapon.

I (Templar, sword'n'board / healing staff) find it hard - I can't kill the lowest bosses, mob groups of more than 2 mean nearly always death. Five to six deaths when trying to tackle the same "unerboss" in different ways is just frustrating, nothing else, most of the time I have to wait for another player to show up which is not rewarding in any way.

On the rare occasion I don't have 2 to 3 second lag I love the difficulty.

The other 98% of the time I die and die and die because I can't block, can't dodge (since the heavy chargeup is < 2 to 3 seconds), or I'm not hitting cause the mob is somewhere else than I see them on my screen.

In other words: Too difficult for the freaking lag...

Yesterday I was running through a VR10 Dwemer solo dungeon as a VR9 (at the time) NB with a VR10 Sorc. The two of us downed two Centurions with appropriate effort and cooperation.

On our way out, there was a pack of 2 Spheres and a Spider. We were owned. I will never believe for a second that the upper VR trash mobs (as of now) are balanced, or of appropriate difficulty. Never.

Since this experience yesterday, I have obtained VR10 as a NB DW/Bow, and earned my "Tamriel Hero" title, on top of finishing Cadwell's as well. Looking back, my NB slaughtered everything in her path from level 1-VR7 with minimal difficulty. Single target regular NPCs... She had the things dead and looted before their bodies hit the ground. Once she hit VR7 at 1.2 release, she got crushed by almost everything including skeevers.

This character took down Molag Bal in the first try. Yet 3 VR7 skeevers owned her. Not a chance upper VR is balanced. I'm also rather frightened and dismayed to see so many people happy with it the way it currently is.
