ouch that sucks, been in the midst of guild drama many times in my mmo lifespan, nothing to be really done but try to find anyone who was in your guild that wants back in and reinvite, would be much easier if ZOS fixed the guild log so it would list the names of accounts removed from guild so you could talk to anyone who was removed and see if they want to come back. Sometimes though, guilds split, though the measures that officer took are quite underhanded and dickish, personally if i was in a guild and an officer told me "we were disbanding and reforming" then took it on himself to remove me i wouldn't join his guild, but that's me.

Power freaks & kiddie drama ^^

Been there, done that >> No time to waste, stay SOLO.
Opinions are like buttholes : Everybody has one, and they usually stink.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

What I find hilariously amusing is the same people that stole his guild also stole his thread.

    Best thread to date.

The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...

Sounds like your better off without them.
It's kinda like when you pug vr10 wyrest sewer with a load of wow idiots.

(They are easily identifiable as soon as they open their mouths)

The instance is blatantly easy, but get with a wow crowd who don't have a clue and before long they will stand there asking questions like, what is your health, what is your magika rofl when it's blatantly obvious the issue is them, while they pretending to know what they doing with comments like

I've never had any problems before!!!

It was the same in swtor, at launch and just after. An infestation of socially unsuccessful adolescence who are very pissed off with life and their lack of success generally, bringing that bad attititude to bear in game, is my psychological appraisal of it all.

I wouldn't worry tho in a few month you will see the good will of the community enhance greatly once they have scuttled back off down the wow hole they came from.

There's usually two sides to every story. If a guild officer thinks that the leader is incompetent or mentally unstable, he is well within his rights to disband and reform the guild.
Um, no, he is well within his rights to leave the guild and tell others to join him, but it's not his right to disband the existing guild.

I did not disband it - a disgruntled member who still had officer privileges did so in retribution for the damage to our forums done by Benny (also he simply kicked the members, only the GM can disband). I had to contact the Webs support team and they were actually looking to see if it was simple glitching or actual hacking (which has legal consequences for doing so to a registered domain).
As I said, I have no problems with you leaving and starting a new guild, particularly if the guildmaster is an inactive hog who abuses his position.

The problem is that your friend kicked them out (which is disbanding by another name on this scale), if he had said "look our guildmaster is a waste of space, me and a few others are going to start a new guild and run it properly" (possibly via whispers) and let them decide, then it would have been fine.

The problem is that doing this way is still an abuse of power, possibly for good intentions, but you did it the wrong way. Suddenly I'm reminded of that scene in Babylon5 between Sheridan and the President of the Earth Alliance. You need to start off as you mean to continue, which means asking people if they want to come, not forcing their hand.

We're already started mate. We have 20-30 online at any time and are 56 active members - we knew what we were doing.

Also we were the ones that made Arch-Enemy into what it was, not Benny - therefore we were entitled to its name and to do as we wished with it. Yes its unfortunate that some people joined without knowing what was going on, and we kicked them out of Benny's guild, but in all fairness - he was advertising a guild that no longer existed, with a non-existant community (which doesn't work at vet levels), so in a way we did those people a favor. A bunch of them actually joined up with us and said it was a good decision so, I'll let that speak for itself.

Spare me your stupid ramblings. You've made yourself look a childish fool on the forums by admitting to ill-scheming to try and get people to join you.

You're not entitled to the guild's name so long as I'm still around, and it won't ever be changing either so get used to it buttercup. We're here for the long run.

Our community exists, it just seems you're bitter that you're not part of it anymore. You can take your 'we're the real Arch-Enemy' guild members and leave, the game has been out for about a month so losing you guys is hardly an issue. You're as new to the guild as you are as new to the game and you've been replaced by much better players. We don't miss you, we don't care about you, we're just going on playing like you weren't ever here.

I had no hand in what happened to your forums. Although I found it absolutely hilarious when I got told about it, I can't admit to doing it as I didn't. I'm not petty enough to do that.

I'm not a harsh guild leader, I'm not a bad person. I get pissed off when teenagers who claim to be the s**t demand something that isn't theirs. Instead of asking 'can I have a co-leader seat?' you demanded I step down.

This forum drama isn't going to change anything. All it proves is that you're desperate to convince people I'm a bad guy, but people will always judge for themselves. My current guild has more than 56 members, and even though the 'core' group left, what difference does it make? I've got a new group of 'core' members now.

To people calling me an 'inactive hog', it's not my fault I took some time away to go and enjoy my life. I just finished my final year in university, so I wanted to celebrate in the sun with friends. I get branded inactive for that...
