'Tis is much more entertaining than GW2 guild drama 'tis it not?

Tbh me and my guildies are just sick of this moron raging everywhere. I blew my cap when I saw he put it on the forums. He couldn't handle accepting that he was a *** leader - apparently we had sworn some blood oath to obey him when we joined his guild =D.

As the person who created Order of Arch-Enemy, its time to respond to this flaming piece of garbage.

He was a highly inactive guild master. For weeks the guild was run by myself and other officers. One day we confronted him with a large group of people on TS, and collectively asked him to give up leadership of the guild. He refused - he kicked myself and another officer of the guild who were extremely popular with the members. A good friend of mine was the host of the TS, and I was the owner of our website so one thing led to another and we used the Arch-Enemy name since that is who we are.

Benny harassed us on our website, glitching his browser to retain moderation powers even after his removal from the website and deleted posts that people spent long periods of time writing. Our retribution was that one of our mates who was still an incognito officer in his guild kicked all the members out. Simple as that.

We have all told him the same thing - instead of moaning and raging - think about why 50+ people chose to leave you during 24 hours and to follow me - but he refused to understand reason.

    That's my two cents.

EDIT: The officer who did it was on TS with myself and several of our guild members - his account was not hacked.

@BigBennyLava‌ I say this to you - drop it because you are making a fool of yourself. You don't realise that a badge next to your name means nothing when people don't respect you.

PS: I'm getting personal threats from him and another member of his guild - @Doserr - screenshots have been provided and hopefully Zenimax will take appropriate action.

    Benny, comment?

Well, i might have a very good advise for you, maybe.

If you recruit by randomly inviting everybody who wants to join, you will end up with a lot of bad people for your guild.

Since you have to start over anyway, do per application. best way to keep things fine.

So we have the lowest guildrank on kinda trail member. Trail member cannot sell in store and take out of the bank. I invite ppl to that rank so they can see if they like it in our Guild. Then they have like 1 week time to drop an application on our homepage. If they dont they get booted out, if they do they get a meeting in TS.
So me and/or my recruitement officers can check em out. If everything is fine they get the normal member rank etc.

If they want to take part in the higher ranks performing guild jobs etc. they have to be in the guild for a little while and take part in our community or prooven themself trustworthy over time.

Thats just an advise from guildleader to guildleader. For us its has prooven to be the best system. Never ever had Black Sheeps.

But thats just what works best for me. It might not for you.

Yep that's how our guild worked, and that's why when it came down to it - people were loyal to me and not to him =) I had no black sheep.

I was with you until this. Kicking other people out--with out their permission--was out of line.

To the guildmasters out there and the players who have had to participate in this unfortunate drama, remember this.

    @BigBennyLava - Char Name Zenith Steelweaver - Self-proclaimed leader of Arch-Enenmy.

@TheBattleMuffin - Char Name Ragnar Hammerstrike - The guy that actually did the leading. Our new guild with the original Arch-Enemy community of 50+ veterans (56 now) is called "The Order of Arch-Enemy" - now you know.

Benny kicked all the ones that disagreed with him out of the guild - His tampering with my 150$ website as also out of line - Most of the members that we kicked joined up with us anyway bc it was their wake up call and they noticed what happened (since some weren't there the day of the breakup) - everyone else were new members that he had mass recruited during that day and we apologized and explained our actions to them and told them they are better off finding a stable guild. Also please keep in mind that it was Benny's choice to make us officers and give us authority. Pissing off a team of 6 officers, all at the same time was his bad judgement call - at least in the future he will know better.

You have to understand. We were a community that existed since the beggining of ESO. Our entire community moved on with me, and we didn't want to leave Benny to tarnish our name further.

If we knew that some members CHOSE to stay in that guild knowingly, we would not have removed them. But we saw that the old community there was non-existant and it was just people that had joined in the space of 24 hours. Not to mention Benny was flaming us when we tried to recruit in zone chat, which was further reason to knock him out of the bubble for good.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but our community survived and that's what matters to me - all I want is to see this guy shutting up and moving on already. He made mistake after mistake after mistake - and mistakes have consequences.

And here is the number one reason I never join guilds with people I don't know .... I can't be bothered with drama.

I get my kids running up to me with the "he said, she said" crap.

I was in this guy his guild aswell. Very egocentric and a narcissist. Left after a few days because his comments in guild chat were just too cringeworthy. I can perfectly understand why people would choose to leave his guild.

    Let’s put this into perspective.

You were the guild leader , you for sure remember the names of atleast a few of them. Ask them to send you the names , be it by ss or name by name.

Do you know why he doesn’t know the names of the people who LEFT the guild on their own terms?! Because he was never online to know his own guild members.

Benny, everyone left out of free will. The core officer group left, ALL OF THEM.
You were asked not by one officer, but by ALL of them, including more than half of the regular members to step down.
Why do you think everyone left? We all left because you never hosted any events, and you never took charge of the guild.

Over 75% of players that were in the “old” Arch-Enemy guild are now in the actual Arch-Enemy guild. Every single one of them agrees on many things about you, but the most common one is that no one thought of you as the leader, no one knew you was the leader, you possessed the title, but in no way did you act like one, you wasn’t even around to pose as one.

With that being said, this isn’t the worst thing about you or your leadership.
You told me yourself, that you look at every member as a pawn in YOUR chess game, that everyone is expendable to you and that it is only a matter of time until your so called chess pieces are no longer of use to you.

You disrespect your members when they do not execute your every order, you went one step further and told me in private that you keep people around until they are of no more use to you.

To the public reading this, if you do not believe me, I have a lot of Screen caps showing what our dear little friend Benny is all about.
Even if it was said in rage and frustration, there are tons of other ways to show your hate to those people who left, but talking about your members in such a broad and general way? That is a person who doesn’t try to hide his true colours anymore, since we are of no more use to him, he didn’t have to hide it anymore.
He could have called us dirty *** with no loyalty, yet he insisted that, we, his members are expendable to him, that he simply does not care about anyone but himself.

This ladies and gentlemen is the reason why people left, no one likes to be seen as a “pawn” and no one in their right mind wants to be used like a pawn in someone else’s chess game.

Although that would be satisfying Ker.Rakb, I'm not that petty.

You sure are petty enough to persuade new members of your guild to harass our members and post real life threats to them in-game. Never mind the fact that your new guild is full of gullible chumps that join your petty pursuit without actually knowing the details 1st hand, but by simply following your orders.

Well Benny, you finally have what you always wanted, a guild full of brainless sheep or as you like to call them “pawns” that execute your every command, no matter how foolish it may be.
    Congratulations.

Over here we play as a team, we value our members and their input to degrees you wouldn't even understand, that is why we will always be better than you, because on our team, we have Players not Pawns.

The name of my guild is Arch-Enemy. The name of the other guild is 'The Order of Arch-Enemy' and they've done it because I refused to give up my guild master seat to one of my officers who demanded it.

Do you mean they all joined his guild instead because you wouldn't give up GM? If that's what you meant by it then maybe consider why the entire guild wanted someone else to be GM :no_mouth: Other than that, when you press G (default key) and click the History button, then Click Guild, and All - there should be some listing of the names here. We can see all that in my guild however none of them were kicks so maybe that's different.

This gives me an idea for another feature though.

If we could set the amount of days we want our guild history to go back, or filter it for different things (joins, leaves, kicks, demotions, promotions) that would be great too.

Other option might be to have a "recent members" tab so you can see a list of names that were in the guild within the last x amount of days. Similar to D3's recently played list.

:frowning: Hope it works out for you.
