Unable to open Furniture Catalogue (Resolved)

So about a week ago I tried to open Furniture Catalogue but it wouldn't, well, open. After trying:

1) Deleting saved variables and
2) Doing a fresh install of the addon

it still wasn't opening. Eventually I tried turning off the libCharacterKnowledge and it opened, but then none of my character information would load when selecting Crafting: Known (the dropdown list is completely empty). The LUA error I'm getting is this:

The addon is up-to-date as well. Not really sure what else to try, when I checked the addon listing's comments section on MMOUI, it mentioned a problem with addon listing every character's known Furniture Plans even if specific characters weren't tracking in the lib, and someone else mentioned their library was empty but deleting the saved variables fixed it (which is why I tried deleting the saved variables since it was mentioned that fixed that problem, so I figured it was worth a shot for a similar yet different one).

Also the author made a post last month about how the next update would fix the former issue of the addon listing all characters in the dropdown menu, but there's been no mention I could find of the addon just not opening period unless the lib was disabled.

The error you are encountering is not in Furniture Catalog, but in the LibCharacterKnowledge library that is included in Character Knowledge. The latest version of Furniture Catalog uses LibCharacterKnowledge, which is why a problem with LCK can cause errors.

So the first problem is that based on the line numbers in the error above, you have a very old version of Character Knowledge, either 2.2.9 (from September of last year) or 2.2.10 (from January of this year). The current version is 3.1.1, and I recommend that you update.

That having been said, the error happened in a part of LCK that hasn't been changed in these intervening months, so I doubt that the version being old is the problem (but it is still something that you should address). The more likely culprit is that there is a corruption of your LCK saved variables file. So if updating Character Knowledge doesn't fix the problem, then the next step is to log out, make a backup of and then delete LibCharacterKnowledge.lua from your SavedVariables directory, and log back in, and this will cause LCK to rebuild the SV file.

Huh...you know, I tried disabling both the lib and the Character Knowledge addon, but didn't realize that it was so out of date because Minion wasn't giving me an update thing for it. I went to Minion to double check and...it's not there? But the folder is in my Live Addons section, so what the heck lol. And the lib wasn't even in the Addon folder but was there in ESO...I have no clue what happened here XD.

Anyway I deleted the Character Knowledge folder, reinstalled both it and the lib, reloaded UI, and now everything is working perfectly again. Thank you for the help because I NEVER would have thought to check Character Knowledge needing any sort of update and finding it's not even in Minion and all that other nonsense.

That's a bug with Minion 3. It will sometimes randomly "forget" that you have an addon installed, and then it won't update that addon. I've seen many cases of people with addons that are many months out of date because Minion just "forgot" that they're installed.

This should be fixed in Minion 4, but Minion 4 is still in development and is not yet ready. There is a beta for people who feel adventurous.

That part is normal because LibCharacterKnowledge has always been included with Character Knowledge on PC. So if you install Character Knowledge, there's no need to separately install LibCharacterKnowledge (the library is available for separate install for people who need the lib but don't want to install Character Knowledge). There's no harm in installing both (the game's addon manager will just ignore the extra copy), though.
