I've been wanting to ask for this for years I figure since you're cutting werewolf back to than its original form if you would please add a delay timer to changing out of werewolf form to like maybe 4 seconds hold down because every time I'm trying to activate a left bumper and a right bumper skill at the same time ( by mistake heated fight) or close to the same time I deform out of werewolf or I use my rage when I'm not ready please add the hold down the ultimate button timer to the transform Back To Human thank you

That's actually a pretty good idea, and makes a lot of sense. Hold down weapon swap would normally be putting away your weapon; in WW form you are the weapon!

The way OP describes it, it's just a controller issue. But I do think there's a larger issue at play that also affects all players, even those on K/M.

This is what the UI looks like when we are fighting:
    3eyfiw09d78o.png

We have been conditioned to think "my ultimate is shining! It's time to use it!" Except... then we turn back. We need to instead look for the icon inside the glow to change to tell us when the Rampage is ready.

I definitely think that the ultimate icon should not glow until Rampage is up. That alone would help a lot of the visual confusion here.

But again, that still doesn't prevent misclicks from turning you back when you don't want it. I definitely think some "hold to turn back" mechanic would really help here, especially considering how pretty well 0% of people will want to transform back in the middle of combat and will only do so by accident, while anyone who wants to turn back to human form will be in a state where they could take an extra 0.5s or so to essentially confirm their choice.

the markings glow I think is a perfect indication for rampage. i do accidentally hit the key once in a while, though.

i actually have the other problem...i want to transform back to human but cant because of the rage lol

the only way to "force" transform back is to change zones (or swap instances if your in cyro/IC), or just use the rage and wait out the 20 or so seconds until it runs out to be able to transform (it wont let you de-transform while rage is active either)

I asked for the ultimate button changes due to the glowing "ready" thing nach during U50 but it appears to have been completely missed as a QoL thing for werewolves back then. Would be nice to only have glow when rampage is ready because of conditioning.

The lockout only lasts about 4 seconds or so, no need to wait the entire 20

Hold to exit? That would clearly be the least intrusive option.

Please don’t take away my ability to switch stances (to neutral stance) for doing my zoomies as well. Thanks!

(also, I don’t want to accidentally hit ‘weapon swap’ and detransform for any reason either).

If PC players need something now, give them a keybind for it. I’m so sick of losing customization, animations, stances, and more because others have deemed it ‘not necessary’ and because it gives the development team a ‘quick and easy’ solution.

Considering that button doesn't do anything in Werewolf form, that's a plausible solution.

Though, I hope all current and future PvE mechanics which require weapon swap (such as the Relequen mechanic in Cloudrest) just ignore werewolves. March of Sacrifices was changed this patch to allow you to avoid teleportation if you use Prowl in Werewolf form (also mapped to the crouch button) so if the bar swap button is still available, maybe a similar change could be made to Cloudrest to act as a bar swap for the purpose of following that mechanic in Werewolf form?

I think holding the Ultimate button down is the most intuitive way to force a de-transformation, bypassing Rampage if it's up. Using the bar swap button for reverting form doesn't make as much intuitive sense and instead should be used as a hotkey for pretending to bar swap for the mechanics that require it. Maybe this could also let us choose our Monomyth Reforged buff?

I think the ultimate button is too overloaded for WW. Being able to keybind the actions separately would be a help.

I moved Ultimate from R to 8 because R is close to 4 and 5 and I'd slip and de-wolf.

They could still make the weapon swap button work for what you propose with just tapping it but if you hold it you deform out of werewolf that way both situations are perfectly taken care of. Just tap it and you can still have the swap weapon mechanic for trials but you won't deform
