Sometimes being immature can be fun. We are playing video games, afterall, not sitting in a board room.
Not anymore, I guess.

What's funny is that when I first started reading this thread, I would have said it should not result in being banned...
WELL. After reading this thread, I'm team keep tbagging a bannable offense. Seriously, nothing here is helping the OPs argument.

Yeah I got a bit lost in the sauce I think with some of it especially for how it would read in a forum format. I think the real issue and thing im trying to say is this:

Gaming culture used to be different. People (women too I played with) used to get online, say stupid stuff to each other, T-Bag, and no one was emotionally scarred by it. We know it was stupid but it was fun.

Seriously, why even teabag people multiple times after they ask/tell you to stop? Does it really enhance the game that much for people?

Uh oh, I better stop using /kissthis after someone spams profanity at me when they die to siege and call me a fake PvPer for the 100th time. I thought that was the purpose of the emote.

Except the damage incurred from someone teabagging you is nothing while the damage incurred by being banned is multiple thousands of hours and dollars all deleted. Please don't try and equate those two things because its not comparable and this thread was made in hopes to spark change in Zos regarding the issue.

Absolutely no one forbids a player to do that with their friends whom they know find it funny too. It's only treated as a TOS breach if a player has stated in chat that they don't want it, but the person still doesn't stop. Continuing to mudball someone if they have said stop is treated exactly the same way. It's not in particular about the exact type of action, the part that's forbidden is bothering a player with behavior they have verbally disagreed with.

This goes back to FAFO. It takes a few warnings before a ban unless it's a very serious offense.
The people that enjoy teabagging in this thread have really shined a light on the toxicity of some of the pvp community and have put some ideas into others' heads about what pvp is really like. Great job! Best way to get people wanting to pvp!

Its not about wanting to bag, its that it should not be bannable. Please stop projecting your feelings on us and making it out like there is something heinous behind it. There is not. Its simply competition and zos does not need to be refereeing in a video game

XVestigeXx wrote: »Basically the title. Have you played any game ever that had multiplayer? Then bagging has occurred and its not something worth crying over much less being banned. "Oh no, that player's pixel crouched up and down over my body" is not some sort of assault on your person. There is no reason to ban people for bagging other than being the stereotypical reddit mod. Its more hateful and does far more damage to ban someone's account all because they bagged someone in-game. Alls it does is fuels greater hate, more harm, more targeting, and more toxicity. Get rid of this terrible, poorly thought out, emotion filled and logicless rule out of our game. Bagging is part of video game culture and it will forever be part of ESO whether you ban or not, it just sucks for the people who are blindsided by having years of their game time and monetary investment ripped away all because they bagged someone and that someone complained and reported it.
The people who report others for bagging just want to weaponize this awful rule as a way to hurt others! You are literally enabling a much worse problem! Get rid of it! And reinstate every account banned for bagging!

At the end of the day, I doubt the rule here will change. My main issue is with people who like to weaponize victimhood and use this rule solely to ban people's accounts over small things people used to just deal with in a pvp setting. I find that far more toxic than tbagging ever was. it is what it is. Sorry you lost your friend.

Video games are not synonymous with immaturity. People of all ages enjoy games and fun.

Yes, it is.

Unfortunately, they do need to referee because of the childish antics of a bunch of manchildren. Or maybe still children, who knows.
I don't care if I get bagged, nor will I ever report for it, but if it bothers others, and they have asked you to stop and you don't, that's ALL on you. Grow up.
