I was killed by a guard during a Dynamic Encounter

I was doing the Dynamic Encounter in Glenumbra with many other players. We were moving from a fighting place to another till the end of this encounter. At the last place there was a Lion Guard Duelist (no killable as every guard in the game). I hit the guard without realizing it and the guard continued to attack me relentlessly until it killed me. How can something like this happen? Guards have to stay very very far from battle fields !!!! So I couldn't have the reward from the Dynamic Encounter and all my stolen stuff was taken away....

    I accidentally attacked the same guard yesterday. He didn't fight me because he was attacking another player, but I did get a bounty.

    Yeah, I think they put some new guards around the Lion Guard Redoubt wayshrine for one of the new thieves guild quests, and unfortunately one of them is too close to / wanders into the area where the dynamic encounter occurs. People are getting bounties almost every time. Hopefully they can move or delete that guard.

    A trick I do is run ahead of the group, hit the guard, pull him to the center of the event where the group will stop at. Buy the time everyone releases whats going on, the guard cast Riot Control and everyone is poofed. :-) Yes, I am a bad wolf. aaarrrroooOOOOoooo

    I agree that something needs to be done. That sounds like a Code of Conduct violaltion because it's targeted harassment designed to intentionally ruin someone else's gameplay.

    Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color) Added in Update 50!, Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

    I didn't even hit him. I healed someone else within the giant clump of people who had hit him and got a bounty for aiding a fugitive :') Not a lot of way around either way sadly. I really wish they would get rid of the healing a fugitive bounties because sometimes *** get a bounty then run through a heal in the middle of town that was already down and suddenly all of the guards are chasing you too T^T

    Does this mean any potential fixes for 0% chance on getting Granny’s eel recipe or 0.000001% chance on agility gem are also off the table till U51?

    Oh good, glad this will be a fix. I had to check today if my attacking innocents was on/off. lol, I kept getting a bounty.

    I keep getting a bounty for being a werewolf in the same DE from a guard on the top of a rock.

    Until then, these actions will continue to incur fresh bounty on innocent participants, collateral damage by being an accomplice to the fugutive:
    - using a synergy (likely provided by 1 or more players with the bounty)
    - Cross healing the player(s) with the bounty

    This will persist to the final stage too, cross healing the NPC to keep them alive may also cross heal players still carrying the bounty.

    If you are targeted by the guard, he will keep hitting you until you die and lose all your stolen items. Last but not least, you will receive no reward for the Dynamic Encounter if it was completed while you were dying.

    That is absolutely unacceptable. I never considered the implications of a single guard mistakingly being at an event like this.

    This needs to be fixed ASAP @ZOS_Kevin. Please. Today, the guard was standing inside the last area for the Glennumbra dynamic encounter. Right next to the pillar players need to used stendar's gift on. I watched a player straight up attack him, pulling him into the middle before the fight even started. So people would hit him. There is no "escaping" the guard if they're literally standing inside the encounter... While some thinks it's funny others do not. Grow up people...

    If we could figure out which player drew the guard in we could report them. But with so many packed togehter it would be hard to figure out.

    It’s unfortunate that there are so many other guards right near the nearest wayshrine, if you aren’t on a stealthy character you will have to pay the fine then and can’t wait it out. If you’ve are on a stealthy character, then you get a greater fine by escaping and have to wait it out longer.
