Well, Warden refresh hasn't been mentioned on the roadmap. It shoulda be mentioned in the U51 part if it's coming on its launch. Definitely delayed. Now we can only speculate if it's coming in some incremental (extremely unlikely), U52 (the most probable) or even later
This isn’t a roadmap, this is just an overview for Season One.
The roadmap was looking like this:
And as far as I know in one of the last streams they said Warden rework isn’t dated for U51 launch but for September, but U51 has been delayed for 3 weeks so Warden update could come in October instead.
the Dragonknight and Werewolf refreshes released when their updates released, why would Warden not release on September 21 if it is in update 51?
it is not an event, store item, or new story.
i hope ZOS soon makes it clear whether Warden refresh is in update 51 or 52, but it should be in a Season roadmap.

I just checked this very same overview from Season Zero and Werewolf / DK refresh were mentioned there. So it missing her might indicate a delay.
But: someone said in one of the last live streams it was mentioned that the Warden rework would not come with U51, but some weeks later (September). I didn’t watch the livestream, I just repeat what someone else wrote here.

Nobody said it would not release in U51. U51 is releasing in September instead of August 31st. U51 and everything in it was delayed three weeks.
Warden is a complete unknown. There has not been a single peep about it from anyone, and it is very conspicuous in its absence - insofar as they were obviously not even allowed to say the word "Warden." If it was going to release on schedule (in U51), that would have needed to make it to PTS when U51 went on PTS... but that release was delayed by three weeks from July 6 to July 27. However, it is logical that if it was going to be releasing on PTS in three weeks from now that the team would have had literally anything to share by now, considering that we have seen previews of every other thing planned for U51 and even some for U52 by now.
However, the Combat Team must have missed the memo that they were supposed to improve communication and be more transparent.
The only official confirmation we have is "Warden is the next rework." Nothing else. But even if it were releasing with U51 as planned, that was delayed three weeks for an unspecified reason. And the levels of secrecy around it (and the transparency of everything else) make it seem like something is wrong.
Ah, thanks for the info, I wasn't aware we knew like who the lead lead of it was. I probably could have looked it up, heh.We haven't heard anything about the reworks all being delayed. We only know Warden will potentially be delayed some depending on when they intended to release it during U51, and that U51 itself will be delayed initially because of it going to the PTS a few weeks late. But again, we don't know when exactly Warden was going to drop, so we don't know if U51 being a bit late will actually make Warden late.
We also have no idea if anyone that was laid off was actively working on the reworks or not, at least not as far as I'm aware. I don't think it was ever stated who's at the head of that whole endeavor. It's possible that some of them were, looking at the titles of those who we know of at the moment, but for now I think the best course of action is to wait until we see the information Kevin mentioned and the updated roadmap Jessica mentioned.
Cambria Blaize is the Owner/Lead of the Combat Refresh, though her title is Lead FX Artist. You then have Brian Wheeler and Alec Verish. Brian's the combat director and Alec is the senior combat designer. Alec has been on all streams that had anything to do with the refreshes. But also several animators and sound designers, as well as other VFX artists had layoffs, so the team behind the refresh may have lost some members.
But with the new roadmap, it looks like the Warden refresh isn't coming in U51 which is a bummer. We're going to have to go another patch with DKs and WW owning the field in PvP, but hopefully there can be some good adjustments to the class masteries to close the gap in the meantime.

The PTS for U51 hasn’t been online yet so I don’t get your argument. All of U51 was delayed, not just the Warden update (that might be part of it or not).
Somehow you always seem to indicate that U51 PTS is live but without the Warden rework when in fact the PTS hasn’t even started yet.
If the Warden rework is not part of the delayed PTS, we can say it (=Warden rework) was delayed. Until that point not the Warden update was delayed, but the entire PTS U51 was.
I understand the sentiment here is "we'd just like to know, anything, really" but I want to say that, in light of recent events, as a Warden main I'd very much prefer they take their time to do the rework right than if they'd push for a rework "half-baked"...
