Season 1 Tome Pages Bug??

So on my main account which I was playing as the new season went live I have 2 pages already open, easily accounted for by the 2k points carried over.

However on my other two accounts which I didn't log in to until after the season went live, I am showing NINE pages open!!

@ZOS_Kevin this cannot be correct? What should I do??

Edit to add:- As you can see my tome point caches are intact I didn't accidently open them!

Mine's the same, I have all pages open on my character

I haven't claimed anything yet in case it's a bug

Mine says "Earn another 1476 points to unlock Bonus Page 1". It also says that I have 2017 point (rollover + 1 daily), so I could not have unlocked all of that.

I'm not claiming anything since this looks like a bug. @ZOS_Kevin, would be nice to know what to do here.
EDIT: I also logged in after the season 1 went live.

Similar issue here. 5 pages unlocked with 2k tome points total. Did not log in until after the switch over

For the accounts where more than 2 pages are open, how many TP got converted to gold?

I’m curious if the game might have counted them as carrying over.

I have up to page 5 unlocked and a bit over 3000 points converted to gold so I think it did use those to unlock pages.

My recap says 6,357 tome thingies converted to 63,570 gold, and I have through page 5 unlocked already with 1,643 to go until page 6. Logged in after the season went live, just now.

On the two that have nine pages open I got 117k and 142k respectively.

I too wondered if it is some kind of conversion hiccup and maybe because I collected the gold on my main account before Season 1 started it didn't mess that one up?

I was online with my main as the season started though.

It's definitely connected to how much gold got converted over. It seems to have counted to unlocking the new tome pages. I had 7,962 TP leftover from last season, and now to unlock the current season's page 6 I need 21 more tome points. Another friend had 6,598 points leftover from last season, and he needs 1,385 more points to unlock page 6.

Another point of data:

I just logged in and got 148,750 gold from the cashout. I'm currently unlocked all the way up through page 9 with 1108 Points needed to unlock page 10.

We've found the root cause for this and will be addressing it for a future Season. Thank you to everyone who reported this and helped us uncover the issue. We will not be removing items or actioning players who had this occur.

It also seems to matter if you logged in between the time the last season ended and the new season started. season zero closed at 1000 EDT, season one opened at 1300 EDT.
I logged in for the first time today after both these times.

I just got home to check this on my end. I was not online when the conversion happened. LUIExtended tells me I got 102,140 gold from 10,214 excess Tome Points (which ignores the 2k carryover).

My autoclaimer took the 17 TP for today's login, to put me at 2,017 total for this season, but 7 pages are open with 1,769 left to unlock page 8. That would have been 1,786 before today's login claim. The game applied the 10,214 points to opening pages in my case.

Thanks Amy for the fast and perfect response.

Many players also don't fully understand how seasonal tomes even work, so I could see people innocently collecting from the option pages that they believe should be open.

That does give players a significant advantage at earning tome points faster, allowing them to buy things more quickly, and have a longer time to earn more gold (even if it's not a ton) at the end of the season from unspent tome points.

Yes this matches what I see.
On PCNA I logged in during the time where tomes were done but not restarted. On there I have the usual 2 unlocked pages, need 2000 points to unlock page 3.
On PCEU I did not log in during that time I had 3305 points converted to gold and have page 3 unlocked and need 695 to unlock page 4.

All my pages are opened. I thought it had something to do with the rollover of gold I got. About 240,000. I didn't know it was glitched and didn't think to know it was a bug. And I opened a catch and got some stuff. Sigh

I am aware of the conversion rate, I even said it's not a ton. I also am aware that it's not "free" tome points. I pointed out that it allows people to do double the challenges and earn extra. I'm affected by this bug, too, since I logged into my account after it went live. I, and many others, will be able to earn double the reward a week sooner vs people who are not affected by the bug who need to actually earn 20k tome points before getting the option. I can look at this and go "Yeah, that's not really fair." I don't see the harm in asking them how it's going to affect the bonus. Are they going to disable the bonus and reenable it later in the season similar to how it was done in Season 0? Are they going to unlock the bonus for everyone? It's still a question I would like an answer to.

i thought this was a change. the entire tome unlocked. so i spent points already. hope that is ok.
