The thing is, they can't "focus" on one or two singular aspects because there are different groups that work on different things. They can't simply chuck everyone at one or two things when those people might not have any sort of experience in doing the stuff any particular number of people might want to see done.
The group working on the infrastructure for crossplay aren't going to know the first thing about how to balance or code for the reworks, for example. The ones who do things for the Crown Store aren't going to be able to just switch over to developing Dungeons. The ones who develop PvP aspects probably aren't going to be much help in story writing for quests.
I'm sure there likely ARE people who would be able to reasonably jump between teams, but for the most part I really doubt that'd be the case.
It impacting everything doesn't mean all those teams are qualified to work on it. The story team won't be able to code the new Skills. The PvP team won't know how to animate them. The Dungeon team won't know much about adjusting numbers.Nemesis7884 wrote: »The thing is, they can't "focus" on one or two singular aspects because there are different groups that work on different things. The class rework will impact every content though.
Jessica posted yesterday saying they're already getting together with leadership to reevaluate everything in regards to the release schedules and such, and that once they had a timeline for us they'd let us know.thedocbwarren wrote: »Would be nice to get something like a basic roadmap or information. If no new content on story or chapter-like then maybe give some roadmap on ES: VI to look forward to. My feelings are since the pivot from story and chapters to tasks and grouping, I want to drop down to a single player game. That was why I even came to ESO, lore and story.
