There's no possible way for anybody to certainly know what you installed the last time before you logged in.
Read the descriptions of your most recently installed mod/s and check there, I guess.

It sounds like you hit the ''hide UI'' key. The blurring is what happens when you enter a menu like inventory or map while you still have the hide UI enabled. So you'll need to press whichever key you have hide UI hotkeyed to.

So, first, if you have any addon that hides UI errors such as Bug Catcher, UNINSTALL THEM. That UI error popup exists for a reason, so that you (1) know that something went wrong and (2) know what went wrong. If you ever get an UI error, the solution is to either check if there is an update for the broken addon, report the problem to whoever maintains that addon, or just uninstall that addon. Hiding the error is not something that anyone should do, because the underlying problem is still going to be there, regardless of whether or not you are informed of it.

UI errors exist for a reason, because UI errors demand immediate action and should never be hidden. (If you "just want it to go away", uninstall the broken addon instead of hiding the error.)

Second, the symptoms you describe are consistent with an addon getting a UI error while it was doing something with the map. An error of this sort usually results in you getting stuck in map mode (you'll notice that when you open the map, the rest of the screen blurs, and that's a sign that you might be stuck in map mode), but the map is broken which is why you don't see anything else.

So my best guess is something that touches the map in some way.
