The Drafts page has been bugged over a year and a poster even gave them a quick 5 minute fix.
It's been weeks since the icons have been invisible.
I know it's Vanilla that needs to fix these but are there any updates?

As someone who deals with contracts and out-sourcing of services please take it from someone who does this for a living - stop paying them. Surely there is a clause in the contract to remedy failure to perform said contract?!

I did find out that they are just invisible and still there, I just need to hover my mouse over where they should be when I'm on the computer, until I find it. Oh, you can join the club and make them invisible with this One Easy Trick! Hold down the [Shift] key while clicking the reload button.
The reason you're still seeing them is because the icons come from a file on Vanilla's servers, and that file has gone missing. But if that file is still in your browser's cache (static assets like these have very long cache expiration times), then your browser will continue to display the icons as if nothing had gone wrong. But if you Shift-Reload, you're telling the browser to ignore the cache, and your browser will then see that the file is actually missing.
But, seriously, WTF is going on at Vanilla?! A file that's gone missing should not be hard to fix. Yet it's been broken for weeks. They're a paid service, but they're behaving worse than amateurs. Did they fire all their devs and replace them with AI slop generators?
Edit: Okay, so I did a little bit of research; Vanilla started out as an open-source project in 2006. It was bought up by private equity in 2021, which later killed the open source project in 2025. And the latest news item on the website of the company that now runs Vanilla is a buzzword-laden thing touting AI features. Yea, I think I can draw some conclusions about what happened to Vanilla.
