Werewolf rework

WW and dk are good changes. Best bet is wait for all class reworks, and hope they’re on par with WW/DK. Usually magsorcs are pretty good at shutting down werewolf, but with the gap closer change for werewolf this isn’t the case so much. It’s way faster than streak.

Really the only way to stop WW is to out damage them so they're pressing heals instead of parsing on you, which I agree is kinda tough right now since they’re a shiny new rework with unlimited sustain it seems like. Someone is bound to make a werewolf hunter poison build that works hopefully.

I like the new WW revamp. Revamp get it..
The only thing lacking is a skill like the wardens Fetcher Infection or Growing Swarm that sends a mass of fleas and ticks that only targets werewolf's as a counter. It would CC them do damage. LOL

Everything useful that comes out is op and someone on the forums complains instead of adapting and just using that

If you dislike werewolves play dk, dislike dk play werewolf, dislike those, go pulse gank.

Dont wanna do any of that just be any kind of sorc lol or a tanky necromancer

You have even more options now but yet still always someone crying for nerfs

I got a better idea: I'll just fire siege. I'll continue to cloak up and fire an invisible siege in people's faces. Thanks ZOS for not patching that.

It's a bit of a non issue seeing as how you drop out of werewolf very soon after starting to fight in it. With no corpses to consume and 10 ulti per second drain you can no longer get involved in a long confrontation as a wolf, they are next to useless in cyrodiil now and not much better in trials or dungeons unless there are other werewolves with you. I've pretty much given up using mine now.

My only issue with WW isn’t really specific to WW, it’s the fact that Fear still has a bug that prevents reliable break free. I’m sorry but on a character where Claw Fury can scale to 96k damage over 4.7 seconds, any crowd control must have reliability to break free. This is the same issue with Charm but base or subclassed Wardens don’t have Claw Fury.

As for the overall WW in PvP, I’m glad they’re stronger, the point of the refresh was to deliver power. The only thing I’m undecided about with WW is the potential to scale their durability with such a low resource allocation.

WW by default has few downsides. They only have one bar but that’s only a negative if the player can’t get everything they need out of that one bar. The Devs put a lot of deliverables into the WW skill line so that’s not really a drawback here.

The reason I’m undecided is because subclassed builds have already been able to combine a lot of mechanics and output, all in one, within PvP. I don’t have an issue with WW being comparable but a subclassed WW or a WW that had access to class Mastery passives I’m on the ropes with.

Given that the Devs themselves have admitted that the Mastery’s behave with WW in unexpected ways and that the passives are more of an experiment, that’s what gives me pause here.

From the Dev notes it seems as though a degree of the PvE based power perspective with WW ended up making its way into PvP so I expect current WW is a bit overtuned but I don’t think WW needs a nerf but I think it’s worth looking into whether or not the Mastery’s should apply.
I'm honestly surprised that WW didn't get its own sort of Mastery Passives. I mean it's not really the same since WW doesn't have Skill Lines like actual Classes, but it would have helped in keeping WW from having weird interactions with actual Class Mastery Passives while not locking them out of it entirely.

They could have even made it so one of them made the Taunt a ranged one, or that Claw Fury gives more, well Fury. They could have done a lot with WW "Mastery" Passives but fsr just like with 95% of WW Sets, there was nothing.

I suppose at the very least WW doesn't suck butt anymore, and I'm happy enough with that.

Went into chaosball last night for a few achievements. There was one bg where it was eight werewolves across three teams, brawling in the centre, two goliaths both trying to get the ball and two healers from different teams that would get hard focused before the brawl started again. I was the healer in that one. Swapped to my ww build, warden ww with class mastery and aerie's cry, huntsman's mask and savage werewolf set up, into about six hours of bgs. It let me stand my ground but there were a couple of poison based players across matches and if they looked my way for more than a few seconds I was dead. My other half built a templar, warden, sorc healer and so long as he wasn't hard focused by eight players he could keep people alive.
Werewolf really isn't unbalanced. The pureclass sorc using shattered paths, crystal weapon and breach was an absolute menace but I'm not going to say they should be nerfed because I wasn't paying attention. Absolute chaos but it was fun.

As a PvP healer.. The DK & now WW reworks have just made it impossible to play.

My gear is prettie good, I worked hard to put it together, but you just cant survive multiple fears going off in what felt like one after the other and then.., throw in some DK leaps to spice it up... -.-

The entire enemy team was either a WW or DK.. fun fun fun fun fun.

And honestly, I don't think this will ever die out, unless it gets seriously nerfed.
The people and the friends we have lost... ...or the dreams that have faded... Never forget them.

Run immov pots from the vendor, or bugloss, columbine, wormwood pots if you want mag restore too. Templar, sorc, warden subclassing for cheap templar ults every 100 odd ultimate.
