Apocryphabound Weapons - should it have been a full set?

I like this new set that was just released, but I am very disappointed to see that it lacks a dagger. Most swords, including the one in this style, are just too big for my character.

I already bought it and I am fine with what I got.

A related question for anyone who has this set: Do the weapons disappear when stowed - like the Gloambound weapons do? I would consider the set if they do, as I love the idea of what appear to be summoned weapons like Gloambound.

Note, the set includes a Battle Axe, Sword, Bow, Staff, and Shield.

as far as i can tell it looks basically like a re-colored gloambound weapons set lol

i dont know if ill bother with it, but im sure there are some people who would prefer the alternative to the blue gloambound ones

i think most weapon packs have typically included 1 of each type of weapon (1h, 2h, staff, bow, shield), occasionally they have multiples of one type (like axe and sword for 1h or 2h) and only a small handful have the full gamut of weapons (every variation for 1h and 2h)

It uses a different model than gloambound. But gloambound at least included all weapon types.

I won't buy it / do not care about it either way.

Not my cup of tea but weapon sets like these should have all the weapon options covered.

I always thought the random selection for these things was odd.

Also, the Gloambound pack was the same price and included a full set, which, sure, is unusual. The Tarnished Red Petal arms pack also just included 5 weapons.

I'm unsure if I'll buy it or not, I haven't looked at it in-game yet. Almost all arms packs don't have all the weapons though. I prefer using daggers too but that's just how they are.

I forgot Gloambound was all the weapons so I get the line of reasoning as to why this should've also been all the weapons and I don't disagree. Tarnished red petal is based on the red petal (prior therric) arms pack which has a limited selection of weapons like most arms packs, so tarnished having a limited selection seems fine to me.

i might buy it, but i already have the other bound weapon styles and use Tarnished Petal the most.

i do not need Apocryphabound to have every weapon, one per type is good enough to me.
i nearly always use a staff anyways.

Just bought it and like it. My elf will only touch staff and bow so the variety is plenty for her. That said, I realize why others may want a more complete selection of weaponry, and not providing that was overall not a great idea.

Tome Bearer's inspiration has long been off-centre in first person on weapons, as have all native visual effects of those weapons. But on the Apocryphabound weapons then are offset in first and third person. By ninety degrees, rotated about the tip of the weapon and offset by several inches. It is a huge mess.

I wouldn't buy it, because overall it doesn't appeal to me, but I question why it would cost the same as a pack with all the weapon types. Not including all weapon types in packs is also a missed opportunity, in my opinion. Here's hoping Zenimax will do better with packs in the future.

Honestly, I'd even buy a full set for 4k or 5k, unless it was broken, had any weapon buffs or anything, or at least quickly repaired. I'd really prefer a full set of weapons at a higher price than weapon stubs at a regular price.

All arms packs and style designs should include designs for the full range of weapons. Even though the Apocryphabound set includes a design for my preferred weapon, I think all weapons should have been covered.

Yeah. As a dual wield / sword and board type person most swords in the game are just very chunky. And I keep using a summoned dagger or shield in my off-hand as a way to cope with not having a one-handed and magic weapon type, so this sword might just be too big for my taste for that.

I bought it but I am disappointed.

I'm usually pretty good about not buying something if I personally don't feel the value is there, but I broke down and got this one for my Arcanist. I keep getting pangs of buyer's remorse over spending this much when the pack didn't include all of the weapon types.
