My router testing to the ISP is clocking in at 2+Gb/s down, 300Mb/s up. The PS5 tests show 800Mb/s down. I've streamed basically all day, every day, without any issues. I don't run on WiFi to my consoles.
It is only ESO that's having lag spikes.
Are you sure it is not your ISP? Been running all over Tamriel over the last week, have not experienced any lag or slowdowns.
Most peeps can control their own network but once it leaves your house there is no control.
Maybe do something simple as constant ping while playing, tracrt and/or pathping to see if there are issues downstream. I am not belittling or calling anybody out, it is just I have seen issues connecting to ESO in the past and have seen that is was a router in between my client and ESO servers.

Performance issues in ESO are almost always server side. It's been this way since early 2014.

Performance issues in ESO are almost always server side and typically the result of DDoS attacks (be it directly or indirectly from the defensive protocols designed to keep the servers up), which ZOS do not publically comment on so as not to give the attackers publicity.
