Do you keep your Gold in the Bank?

I keep almost all my gold in the bank.

I have all gold automatically deposited into my bank within limits.

My main keeps 5k, the rest keep 1k on them.

With a banker assistant I can just pull it out and however much gold I need at a time.

I keep almost all my gold in the bank.

My main character has ~5 million on her.
The rest deposit their money into the bank at irregular intervals (i.e. when I think of it) rounded down to the next 100k, and keep the change.
So most of the money is in the bank, always a nice round number. :-D

Characters can be deleted. It's more difficult to lose bank.

My main has 240K in the pocket for eventual bargains at traders. Other characters have less. All the rest is conveniently carried by Eri the banker.

I keep almost all my gold on my characters.

I am a big alt person. Even though I'm not super strict about this, I am a fan of seeing what each character has earned. Therefore most of my characters keep their gold unless my bank gets low, and then I replenish, for situations when I'm on a character that needs a little boost.

95% of my gold is held in my personal guild bank due to playing on 16 accounts , i keep around 2-3m in 3 of my accounts bank ( main accounts ) and 100-500k gold on like 32 of my 78 toons person

I keep almost all my gold in the bank.

I keep most of my gold in the bank. I have several characters and I play whichever I happen to feel like at the time, so it's simpler to keep the gold in the bank so I can withdraw what I need when I need it, instead of having to log in and out of different ones.

But I'm also not strict about depositing it. I go to the bank when their inventory is full and then I'll deposit most of what they have (always in multiples of 1k, not the little bits) but I never go to the bank just to deposit gold.

My characters all have Baron Jangleplume in their houses so I just deposit all but 2k gold before they log off.

I keep between 20 - 200k on each character i play regularly.

I keep between 500k and 20 million in each account.

I keep my primary gold source in a personal guild bank, because I can.

I keep ~20m on each character for spontaneous purchases, then anything above that goes into the bank on either my main or alt accounts.

I keep almost all my gold on my characters.

I keep all my gold on one character-my main. Since I don't have a "dozen" mains and I only play with one character—I use the rest my characters just for daily writs/RNDs/or somethime daily Q etc., but I don't actively play with them otherwise—it's enough for me to keep my gold on my main character.

I have an addon set up so that whenever any of my alt characters visit the Banker Assistant, it automatically deposits all their gold into the bank, and whenever my main character visits the Banker Assistant, it automatically withdraws all the gold from the bank. This way, I can keep track of my total gold, and as I mentioned, I don’t need to keep it anywhere other than on my main character.

Hmmm, I don't belong to any trading guilds anymore because I hate that constant harangue to keep my 30 slots filled all the time.

I have acquired 22,600,000 in gold (and 25 residences and everything else I need), and each time I get up to 100,000 gold in "walking around" money I put it in the bank.

I used to have three characters: my Nightblade Main, plus one Templar High Elf and one Imperial Dragon Knight. After a few years I decided I didn't need the Alts anymore, so I just play my Main character and it's much simpler ... and I don't need to waste time and gold on Alts.

Come to think of it, the only time recently that I spent any significant amount of gold was when I spent about 330,000 gold to max out my Banker's slots to 480 slots. That was gold well spent.

I keep almost all my gold on my characters.

I keep the vast majority of my gold on my main crafter/original character as, other than my trial tank, she's the character I play the most. And generally if I'm gonna spend money, it's on motifs or furnishing plans she doesn't know. Since I can't tell that if I am on other toons, I never buy those on other toons.

I do keep a small amount of gold on each toon for "traveling money" when not near a wayshrine, but otherwise it all stays on my crafter.

I carry all my gold on my characters. 0 gold in the bank, unless I'm transferring some from one character to another.

I'm.curious. When I went to go into my vault room it just basically showed me a picture of an empty room. If I put gold into the bank, can I then enter the room and look at the piles of gold or is it all just a picture?

It varies a bit, but I tend to keep most of my money in the bank, leaving the remainder on my characters based on how much they get played with my main getting the most.

I guess it's a way to show off to visitors how rich we are. But if it only counts the gold in our banks it's not a true indicator of our wealth, because this poll shows that many don't keep their gold in the bank.

I usually keep it all funneled into my crafter, but with the new house, i tossed it all into the bank for the obvious. I have no clue if i will leave it banked or not, yet.

Most of the gild is in the bank, and each of my 10 characters has approx 30K in gold on hand at all times.

I have seven characters, all have a unique race/class combo, and since I don't play them all at once, after the daily writs they drop the daily gold on the bank, even the main one. I have houses almost everywhere for TP and I ride when I need to. Same for repairing, I have lots of crates, so... my bank is quite full.
