Maligalig Coral Aerie Help, please?

Hello,
I am trying to Solo Coral Aerie and get killed by Maligalig.
All of a sudden, my health drops close to nothing or all the say. I have tried to dodge roll hold block, nothing
Maligalig does 11k with the barbed lance, but how do I avoid it... Block not seem to work. I do see a red circle around me, but no green circle to run to.

There is a Yaghra Popper that deals 11k damage to me - but I didn't see what it does..

Barbed lance is her heavy attack iirc, it hits 4 times. The Yaghra Poppers are the red spider lookin guys who come up to you and explode, killing you. One’s chasing you if you have the target over your head.

Specifically, her heavy attack is two back-to-back attacks. If the attack hits you (regardless of whether or not its blocked), it will embed a barb in your body, and that barb will explode after a few seconds (the small red circle is the telegraph for that explosion).

So that's what Soarora means by hitting you for 4 times: The attack itself can hit twice, and each hit will embed a barb that will explode, for another two hits.

You really, really want to dodge her heavy attacks. Both hits of the heavy attack. It's going to be rough on stam, though, since they're back-to-back, so you're going to get the roll dodge cost penalty. The hardest part about soloing her is maintaining the resources to dodge both hits of her heavy.
