Nice, I didn't know about that addon. Some seem to have silly long reset ranges, but maybe it resets in a better direction.
Actually, if you collect multiple copies of the same survey, once you've collected survey, just press the keybind to open the housing menu and select "Preview House"(one that you don't own...). The game will teleport you inside the house; as soon as you're inside, just leave the house immediately, and the game will teleport you back to where you were. However, the zone will reset, and so will your survey, so you don’t have to run anywhere or check your distance to see if you’ve moved far enough for the survey to reset—just two loading screens(portin to house, porting out) and your survey is reset. As for which method is faster, I’ve never timed it (it really depends on how long the loading screen takes for each person), but this one works better for me.
But yea, I’d love to see some QQL. I’d definitely go for it. It wouldn’t be bad if, for example, three surveys of the same type (three Alchemy Surveys, for instance) could be combined into one big survey (Greater Alchemy Survey), which would contain three times as many resources as a regular survey.

You lose the ability to see things far away, but that shouldn't matter when you're getting surveys done.
It's at the point where I just have a toon who holds the surveys because it's a chore to do them.

Ok fine do all 6 survey nodes in 6 actions and have it be the equivalent of 24. What happens if you run out of inventory space mid-run? Once you tag the first node you'll have consumed all 6 and you'll be leaving a lot more on the ground.
