Jesters Festival Grab Bag please?

I remember there used to be one of these last year. To provide people with at least SOME chance of getting older stuff. 2 tickets a bag.

And you could, if you wanted, buy event tickets with crowns. 250 crowns a ticket.

Now, 1 event ticket has become 100 Tradebars...

...But there's no Jesters Grab Bag, and there's no Crown to Tradebar conversion (250 crowns for 100 tradebars would be the equivalent).

Why not?

the old styles are still in the event boxes.
And the Jester Daedroth costume scraps are sold by Phillius Dormier.

For Mayhem and Witches Fest they contain old collectibles,
so what exactly would a Jester's grab bag contain?

Grab bags are for stuff that is not available in event parcels anymore. But Jester‘s boxes still contain old rewards.

For Mayhem, witches and jubilee they can drop all you miss from previous event, even old stuff that still drop in event box.

But for Jester event it would be MOSTLY for the pig pet fragments that some of us never manage to get.
I found only 3 of them in 4 years, get none last year and I feel I'll drop none this year again. So will be 5 years I still cannot manage to get it...

If only we had bag like that for Jester I would be able to finish it...
But they never wanted to make a bag like that for Jester, for some weird reasons.

Grab bags are going away starting with Anniversary Jubilee--the rewards that were in them will just be directly purchasable with Trade Bars.

They probably should move some of the current Jester's rewards onto the Bazaar next year since the loot table is spread way thin compared to most events. Jester's is up to 7 droppable style page sets where most events only have 2-3 current ones.

This is my 5th Jester's event. I've collected 6 of 7 pig's fragments, starting from 2022, only Sovereign Libations remains for me. And it seems I will not obtain it this year, because chances are very low, and the event is very short. Throughout the years I see other players complaining about this pig as they meet the same problem. They also propose a simple solution - make old fragments purchasable. If event tickets are gone, use the brand new trade bars, obviously.

Jesters festival always gets people screwed on drops. Its a joke event literally and always gets shorted.

- Regal Regalia (7 pieces)
- Second Seed Raiment (7 pieces)
- Cadwell's Kitchen weapon style pieces (10 items)
- Broom and Bucket styles (2 pieces)
- Jester's Aldmeri, Covenant and Pact Mimicry Helmets and Jacks (6 items)
- Sovereign Sow fragments (7 items)
- Runeboxes: Cherry Blossom Branch, Jester's Scintillator, Jester's Deadly Headband Adornment
- Mirth Shards (for Playful Prankster's Surprise Box)
- Revelry Shards (for Cadwell's Surprise Box)
- Festive Noise Maker Parts (5 needed)
- Joke Popper Parts (5 needed)
- Scraps of Minstrel's Cloth (10 needed)

This is an ABSURDLY large number of items that can only appear in the Golden jester's box, not the Purple ones.

This is the reason why a Grab Bag for past items was needed in the first place. If the Jester's Festival didn't have one, IT SHOULD HAVE HAD ONE - and it should either have one NOW, or the above items should all appear in the Gold Coast Bazaar NOW..

I been playing this game since 2016 and I haven't gotten the majority of these items. The drop rate is absurd.

Funny thing is they might already have some things in mind for this with the Season 0 Gold Coast Bazaar offerings, but we won't know until right after the event is over.

This is my sixth Jester’s event and I’m still only at 5/7 for the pig pet. It shouldn’t take six years to only get five fragments for something.

They really should just add these Fragments to the Impressario or Philius' offerings at this rate. There is absolutely no reason there should be people trying to complete things like the Pig years after they were introduced. ESO relies FAR too heavily on RNG for a lot of things still.

Add me to the list of those frustrated by the awful drop rate for these things.

However I have seen some of those on the list drop from purple boxes this year. Old style pages (I got 3 brooms at least today alone) and one mirth shard. Still not got 5 of those or 5 of the revelry ones though.

As for the pig, still at 3 of 7 after several years of trying. I did get the third piece this event on the second day and thought it was from a purple box too, but I could have been mistaken. Doing every event daily on seven toons, well they all start to blur together after a while. And yeah... not much fun either when it takes 30-40 minutes per character. Leaves no time for anything else in the game.
