Description:
I have been dealing with micro freezes in ESO for the last week or two. The game will lock up for less than a second every few minutes. Nothing else on my system has any issues, including BG3 on max settings.

UserBenchmark results
Game 105 percent
Desk 120 percent
Work 133 percent
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D (120.6 percent)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 (83.5 percent)
SSD: AMD RAID Array 1, 2 TB (330.3 percent)
RAM: 64 GB G.Skill F5-6400J3239G16G, 4 x 16 GB (217.1 percent)
Motherboard: MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7E51)
Troubleshooting Performed:
• Turned off all addons
• Stress tested hardware
• Checked for background processes
• Verified that no other games stutter
• Disabled Steam overlay, cloud sync, and other Steam features
None of these steps resolved the issue.
What I Observed:
I was logged into two ESO accounts on the same PC. Only one account had the micro freezes. Since Steam only allows one login at a time, I launched my second account directly without Steam so I could trade between them. The account running through Steam had the freezes. The account running without Steam was completely smooth.
I am still getting a freeze once in a while on the direct launcher, but it is much less common than on the Steam launcher.
The only time ESO runs smoothly is when I bypass Steam entirely.Account Limitation:
Only one of my accounts is a non Steam account, so I am stuck with the issue on the others. My main account is the one I can run without Steam, so at least that one is unaffected.
Question for Support:
Is there any way to upgrade or convert my Steam linked ESO accounts into direct ESO accounts so I can log in without using Steam? I would prefer to run all of my accounts through the standalone launcher to avoid this issue.
